Mike, I think your conclusion is BS; the conclusion is that roughly 15% of Democratic voters would rather vote for the Republican nominee than vote for a Democratic nominee which was not their first choice. I think he is addressing older voters who fear that Trump may get re-elected and have decided to back Biden or Buttegieg or Bloomberg, out of fear that Trump might get in again; older voters who don't realize that Bernie is backed by milleniels who are the largest population age-wise than any other generation. Boomers are the second largest age demographic, but there are more milleniels than boomers. Milleniels are 40% of the electorate. The older folks tend to get their news on tv, and the younger folks tend to use the internet more.

The problem is that the vast majority of Democratic voters live in California which is in the bag already. Yes, many are and have moved to Texas, Florida, etc which is good for the Dems so long as they take their vote with them. I still predict a Trump landslide. Most people I know are very angry at the Democrats for nothing but trying to impeach and obstruct. Dems are relying on young voters to get out and vote and come the day not enough will.

You can be inspired by Bernie Sanders all you want, but the Democratic National Committee and the party elites were never going to allow him to win the nomination. More than a few people on the red side of the aisle were hoping for the Trump-Sanders face-off that should have happened in 2016. Hillary and the DNC made sure that wouldn't happen, and the same forces are keeping Sanders off the November 2020 ballot. His voters ought to be livid.
