- Since its very beginning in 2001, the irish music series 'Other Voices' has brought international musicians to the small town Dingle on Ireland's atlantic coast. Every winter it is held in the old Saint James Church, which has a capacity of roundabout 100 people. For the sixth edition of the series, Amy Winehouse was invited to play on a stormy sunday night on December 3rd 2006. Due to the weather, a number of flights were cancelled around that time, which forced Amy and her musicians to leave some of their bandmates back in England. Only accompanied by her guitarist Robin Banerjee and bass player Dale Davis, this short concert became one of her most intimate and brilliant sets.
OMG this is my favourite version of Love Is A Losing Game! ❤ Amy's whole Other Voices concert was undoubtedly her best performance by far. Her vocals are spot on. No cracks, firm yet vulnerable and soothing. Amy was in top form that evening. I'm in awe! 💕
