this is fantastic, thankyou so much for posting to the #campchallengealliance i really enjoyed watching your video and love the set up i look forward to your future videos
Thanks for sharing your sleep system. For me , warm/dry base layers and sweats/hoodie/toque to sleep in are so essential. I've never camped in a hammock but I think in the cold weather they'd be nice to get up and off the ground.
It is always nice to get off the ground. Where you are you probably would not save any weight during the winter compared to a tent, but the comfort you gain is immeasurable. Thank you for commenting. Much appreciated.
Been missing you on UA-cam. I assume all is well. Those quilts can get expensive, but are well worth it. Check out Jacks r Better made here in the states. The quality is second to none. It will be my next insulation purchase without question. Fortunately, for me in my area, 20 degree quilts are all I ever need. A bit less expensive. Cheers, mate. Hope to see a post from you soon. 👍
@@volleytheory Thanks for the info Dean 🙏 You guys have got access to some awesome gear mate. It's just the cost of the shipping and import taxes that hammer us pal. Yeah, it's been a while since I managed to get a vid done. I've been pursuing a new career (nothing too exciting, lol) that's taken up a lot of my spare time but things seem to be setting down again now. Will hopefully be able to find the time to get something done before Christmas. Take care mate and I'll hopefully catch up with you again soon 👍
I’ve doubled up with 2 DD under quilts on super cold nights and came out fine. Sometimes a change in job can really work out for the better. Fresh perspective always inspires. Take care. 🤘
But, if this is November, where is the snow? I have a hammock but have never set it up. I got some old school sleep systems but I will be too late for Novembers game. Thank you for showing us your set-up, Dean. Stay safe and stay warm
Snow? 😂 We might get snow one day out of the year! Usually in February. You should get that hammock set up if only to take a nap. I have one in the house I love it so much! Thank you, Sean. Very much appreciated.
