Thanks for sharing your votes Rick. I would pick Parker, Allen and Boyer. I also think Tiant and Garvey. WAR has its pros and cons. Garvey was an exceptional playoff performer which seems to have little meaning in HOF discussions compared to other sports. If I was looking to win a big game Garvey is right up there as a first baseman. I can’t get there on the others for the HOF. I hope all is well.
@@tjmacvintagecardsnostalgia648 I watched the HOF livestream on @rayfromphilly channel. Before watching I didn’t really know anything about John Donaldson. They convinced me. Up til then, Boyer was my third pick. I saw a lot of Willie Stargell in the 70’s. He’s my favorite from that time. I never warmed up to Garvey. I would take Willie over him in the situation you described, e.g. Game 7 of the 1979 WS. Hope all is well with you and I hope we get 2 in this year!
Great video! I would love to see Tiant get in. He actually started Game 6 of the '75 Series but had pitched so much that postseason that he wasn't as effective as in Games 1 & 4.
Dick Allen is my top hope for the Hall this year. Great job talking about his background. He is a great example for all of us. Of weathering the storm and still working hard. Thanks Rick.
Thanks for the enjoyable presentation Rick. // My 3 votes would be Allen, Donaldson, & Boyer; although it's hard to decide on just three. // By the way, I sent a text to your cell number.

Gave a video like. Loved hearing your view on Dick Allen. Great rookie card as well. Enjoyed this episode! Thanks for sharing, Rick
@@Hodges1455 Hey Brian! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I loved getting a sneak peak of this tranche of cards in Garfield. It's a really impressive collection, Rick!
Great video Rick! Good points, hope we get 3 guys in this year.
@@stuke1976 Thanks Scott! I hope so too, although it is rare to get that many from this committee (or its predecessor).

I am with you on a lot of these worthy players. Dick Allen more so. Thank for sharing.
I totally agree with your picks
@@LouRokTV Thanks Lou! I hope we’re right!

@@The_Cincinnati_Kid Thanks CK! I agree!
@ Dick wore a mustache in baseball when almost all other players didn’t. Not sure if he was bucking the rules. But he did it his way.

@@concretebuddy59 You’re right, it is hard to pick just three from this group!
