Wow this is great! I like the fabric feature too. There are so many times that I buy fabric for a specific pattern then later forget which pattern I was going to use. I think this is also going to save so much time rifling through my patterns manually to see what I have in my pattern stash. Than you so much for sharing this tip!
Thanks. What a great app. I've been using Google photos in a very similar manner. I doesn't have categories, but I use the same words in the descriptions, so searches give me the same results. The downside is it takes time to load pictures up to Google storage in the sky, and that slows my camera function. I'm pretty sure I'm going to upgrade to this app!!!
This is a great video. Thank-you. I have been using Evernote in much the same way although it has been a while since I updated it so you have inspired me to get back to it.
Thank you for sharing. I'm from the old school. Worked with computers, in a business setting, long before the Internet was a gleam in Al Gore's eye. While I truly appreciate all the advantages of electronic file storage systems, my background has taught the needed for manual backup. What if electronic communication goes down due to natural for man-made disaster for a length of time. Do you have a way to access/retrieve this stored data? That can range from printed hardcopy and local electronic storage such as thumb drives. Appreciate all the work you're doing and especially the time it will take to complete same. Thus encourage you to have accessible backup.
How fun! I live her doll patterns :-). I’ve made many for my granddaughters. Hmmm... ask if she would be interested to be featured on the channel sometime?
Thnak you for sharing this app with us but I need some help please. Im very interested in this also, I have and iphone, ipad and windows computer. My iphone and ipad are not connected as far as apps are concerned. If i down load the app to my ipad how can i see it on my iphone or visa versa. Sorry im not very techno as far as downloading and sharing is concerned but i dont want to pay for 2 individual apps.
Did I miss the link to the article you wrote about this program? I've downloaded the app on my phone but it isn't intuitive for me What's the best place to start?
The article I wrote was just an overview of sewing apps. Start with categories. They have some in there for you- you can use them to start or add your own. To add your own, click the little plus sign at the top. Open a category. Next to the word “patterns” there is a plus sign. Click that to open a screen to add your pattern! Click done when you are finished. Voila!
@@dorothysdaughtersews Thanks! I think I'm figuring it out now! I've entered about 15 so far! Many many to go! I have an app for fabric too so I can remember what I have! Thanks again!
Hi Dorothy, going back to your beginning videos. Thanks for sharing this app...just downloaded and will be working on getting my patterns organized!

That’s a great point! The data is backed up on the iCloud Drive, at least for iPhone users. Thank you for subscribing!
Jumps here from your live chat June 29. Going to give this a try! Thanks Kim!!
I just subscribed, watching you open the app, saw you have Flossy Potter patterns!!! She’s my best friend!!!
