All racing cancelled today?! These riders have been there a whole week and they just get cancelled?! That's so unfair after they have worked so hard to get there, not to mention the expenses paid to be there! Ridiculous!
Seriously? The weather expectations could lead to injuries! Storm and hail.

@@kenn_foxx5563 I agree which is why they should have continued to postpone it instead of flat out cancelling. What a slap in the face to all the riders that worked so hard in their first few motos. They deserve to have the chance to continue competing. They earned it! What a complete logistical failure on UCI's part, it's so disappointing

UCI is making it hard on riders to want to continue competing in this. Cancelling races over weather is beyond ridiculous, are you going to refund everyone? What about their plane tickets for their ONE DAY?????
Get it together or you won’t have anyone racing this in the future.

I have allways thought this.
Been saying for years that World Champs should be run on indoor tracks to take away weather issues and track advantage. If that means costs to compete rise to cover cost to facilitate an event, then it is offset to wasted events affected by weather and makes the racing fair.
Disgusting this was cancelled and not simply postponed. Seriously bad as it appears the weather wasn't that bad after all... too soft America. We had worse weather at the Tokyo Olympics and just waited it out. I REALLY feel for all the athletes who have been ripped off.

And UCI needs a kick up the back side as well. They don't seem to care about the grass roots of the sport, just elite and olympic level.

Worlds should be held on indoor tracks the fact most of these riders are paying upwards of $10k for this one day to be canceled is ridiculous

Il est inadmissible que les courses aient été purement et simplement annulées sans proposer de solutions de report ou d'attente en espérant que les conditions météorologiques soient plus clémentes. Comment peuvent réagir tous les pilotes et accompagnants qui ont parcouru, la plupart du temps, la moitié de la planète et dépensé des sommes importantes de déplacements (avion ou autres moyens de locomotion, etc...), logements, etc ... Tout ceci leur a entraîné des dépenses très très importantes, voire des milliers de dollars, d'euros ou autres monnaies !
Je vous pose la question : qu'en pensez-vous ?
N'y avait-il vraiment pas de solution pour gérer cette situation et respecter l'esprit sportif des riders qui ne peuvent être qu'en colère ?
Que voulez-vous faire pour eux ?

National bicycle league. They merged and USA bmx / ABA took over. NBL was 10 times better.

Sadly, they’re going to punish the riders for weather they cannot control.
Disgusting to see the racing cancelled, I have a privateer friend who has payed thousands of £s to race masters at the worlds, he was top 4 in his motos and you cancel, shame on the UCI!!!

Beyond ridiculous. Nice light standards, soiltac track, everything you need to postpone a race and resume when safe to do so. What a smack in the face to the athletes. Their plates, given like this, will be worthless. How can anybody consider this to be a way to settle a championship? Lightning will pass. Hail will melt. This is not a safety issue at all. It is a greed issue.

This is unfair, but they did tell them “go your hardest in your motos” someone I wont name names but they ended up with w8 and he’s not going to be happy with that this is an Aussie this person is faster then w3 they did it on pestions not times sadly.
