I had a couple of each back then, but I'd go with WWF LJNs, Visionaries, SuperNaturals, Captain Power, and Marvel Secret Wars lines from the 80s. And I never thought I'd hear Rockwell City get a mention. I'm from Sioux City, but one of my two speeding tickets was in Rockwell City so it's one town in the middle of Iowa that I won't forget!

The SHfiguarts and Hasbro 90's X-Men lines. But there are just too many to get. If you just think about the essential X-men's you HAVE to have that's over 10 figures already. Not to mention deep-cuts and random bad guys.
My biggest regret is the original Dino Riders line. I had some of the smaller ones. But the big guys were well outside of my patents' price range. Now they're outside of MY price range.
Aww man COPS was a fun cartoon, my brothers and I loved it too, we had a few of the figures, my favorite was a villain I believe, he had a purple suit and guns flipped down from his chest I think, but we also had the Big Boss " Nyah Nyah" 😂

1- WWF Hasbro - I regret not completing this as a kid or even as a young adult. I still have all of my childhood Hasbros and have added many more over the last year filling in the gaps but I may never get the green cards with their rising value.

5.Any DC line but usually they start off strong and then fizzle out. 4. Mafex batman dark knight returns series, I could still get them and they are still fleshing out the line but $$$$. 3. Gobots lol I know right. I think someone should make a modern day line like high-end hot toys maybe. 2. Mask didn't think that one until I heard you say it. 1. Lol wait for this one seriously lol....... captain power. Now that is a deep cut I'm sure. And I just thought of this, the storm golden ax made me think of this. Why haven't storm or some other company made a double dragon line. They have streets of rage. I don't know maybe they have and I've just not seen them.

I was all-in on Playmates Simpsons for the first year or so, then sold them when I went to college. I just started recollecting in 2020 and I'm about 75% there on a complete collection. Most of those can still be picked up on the cheap. It's doable!

There are a lot of Storm Collectibles figures I'd love but I did make a firm decision to collect the Golden Axe figures. I'm not getting every one of them since several are just repaints but the three core characters and creatures, one of the Death Adder figures and some of the skeletons are a must for me. It's interesting you mentioned the Simpsons figures. There is a local restaurant where the owner has a large display of carded and loose Simpsons figures from Playmates. Its right as you walk into the restaurant. I always admire that when I walk in. COPS is a cool line and I loved the cartoon. For me, my top 5 toy lines are 1. Thundercats, 2. MASK, 3. Inhumanoids, 4. Dino Riders, 5. SilverHawks. These are lines my parents couldn't afford so I missed out or I didn't know existed until I was into collecting toys as an adult.

My line that I wish I had collected was funny enough wwe elites, I was one of those who had a huge love for my jacks figures and once mattel got the rights I just stopped. Thanks to your videos and the majors bros I have gained an appreciation from affar of them, and just recently bit the bullet and bought my first elite, that being the ultimate stone cold. Going to try to just stick with the attitude era guys but we will see how that goes.

I was always hesitating collecting the movie figures for marvel legends and finally gave in a couple months ago and now looking at the prices of the older ones I could of easily got makes me really regret not starting earlier but oh well, great video as always and I feel your pain with the simpsons figures, always thought they were really cool.

I agree with the Simpsons line, it looks incredible.
I don’t have too many regrets of full lines. Maybe a few figs from from lines I didn’t collect. Only full line that I wish I collected are the Gremlins Mogwais. If I had room then maybe GI Joe Classified but it’s not a regret. I wish I grabbed all the different Classics Trap Jaw figs. Retros Macho Man figs is also a mild regret. Maybe if I had more room I’d get the Super7 Turtles.
I also regret not picking up Mezco Popeye series 3, especially Alice the Goon. I collected all the Popeye figs through the first 2 series but then checked out for some reason I can’t remember. Probably my biggest action figure regret.
I will say as a GI Joe fan I really would have loved that pursuit of cobra line. It was so cool. A vintage line I always wish I had was Inhumans, but they never came to the UK. I found about it years later and it seems something I would have loved . Mythic Legions is a beautiful line but cant justify the price. Super 7s tmnt is the same. I stick to the reaction tmnt because they are really cool and i love the ultimates but they are too expensive per figure for me to justify. I am glad they seem to be doing the same figures for reaction and ultimates. Reaction hits a good spot between affordable and retro , as well as some great sculpting for the size.
I also feel you on the shows. Once youre invested its hard to quit even when they get bad. The walking dead started off great but got really dull around season five. I stick with it because i love zombies but the main show has been hard to watch for a while.
I had COPS and crooks figures and I feel those figs were ahead of their time! I have been having to fight the urge to jump in on Super 7 lines like Thundercats, Silver Hawks and if the did COPS it make it even harder. If they did that line ( or somehow M.A.S.K ) I may just have to jump in on all the Super 7 animated stuff! Especially since my job situation:pay will soon be improving!
I’m with you in the want for Masters of the Universe Classics. They are just too spendy at this point for me. I only have one line I’d like to get into but it’s just too deep. I’d love to collect the Star Wars Black Series. They look great and are not priced to badly. It’s just soooo much.
M.A.S.K., Spiral Zone, Ultimate M.US.C.L.E, Robotech and AWA Remco. Honorable mention to Starcom. I think we must be around the same age… I remember stores like that. There was one by me growing up called Woolworth and I remember them having all the toys but all I wanted at the time was Garbage Pail Kids 🤣

I’m with you on the Simpsons. I wish I collected it and seeing Mark from Blink 182 on MTV cribs. That got me itchy. If anything I just wanna get the family and couple other characters. Other then that; oh baby!

G.I. Joe Pursuit of Cobra is one of the best toylines I ever collected. Sorry I sold my entire collection years ago. Now I'm hunting hard for those Classified figures I won't be selling these ever. 😂
You didn't collect cans and bottles or do odd jobs that's what me and my brother did to buy our toy figures. We'd collect $80.00 worth of cans and bottles a week and go to toysrus and kmart to buy what we wanted. Our mom did buy us some from time to time it was one each. If we wanted more than one each that's what we had to do. And remember toys back then were just a few dollars.
Let’s just say it I’ve been hustling since I was an extremely young kid collecting cans, riding my bike to car washes delivering the paper I’ve been working for as long as I can remember
For me it would probably be Star Trek and Star Wars Starships.... mostly Micro Machines probably.
I had a few Trek Micro Machines but i just never got to the right stores often enough to pick up more of them.
Then there was that Star Trek Starship Collection from Eaglemoss, i was REALLY considering jumping full in on that one, but i know how these things go, its based on a magazine, there is another one every month, you gotta subscribe to it and end up having to pay for the good and the bad stuff, and after 30 or 50 or so you feel obligated to finish it, even if you are not happy with the quality or the price and it is really getting too expensive and they are pumping up pricing to keep going and then you drop out half way through anyway and hate yourself for it forever, i never even started with that line. But man it was tempting.
I half regret the decision, i half am happy that i didn't waste tons of money on it.
I know, Ships are not action figures, but Star Trek Starships were my thing for years and that will never stop... i'm NOT a fan of the new Star Trek stuff and i'm not paying another penny until Alex Kurtzman and his ilk are gone from the franchise (Trek is now where Star Wars was with Last Jedi, but Trek never got a Mandalorian, it just keeps getting worse and the people ruining it contunue to stay in charge), anything 2009 and forward in Star Trek is just garbage and they've made it abundantly clear they don't want me as a fan or customer anymore.
Now i'm more into Star Wars than i was ever before thanks to Mandalorian (the Sequels are ancient history, lets never talk about those again), but somehow i'm collecting Black Series like a mad man instead of Starships, i think because there are no good Starship toys... there is LEGO (meh), there is Vintage Collection (too big, not detailed enough, not my thing)... and i guess model kits exist but i suck at building those, i always wanted the pre-built stuff for Star Trek as well, Diamond Select, Ban Dai/Playmates and so on.
I could really use a good Venator Class to go along with my Clone Army but there just isn't anything i want to jump on.
A good Razor Crest would also be awesome but that Haslab was too big and expensive (i missed it anyway), the small toy ones are not even accurate...
it is really hard finding good Star Wars Ships somehow. I don't know what's up with that.
You'd think it would be the easiest thing in the world to put a good Star Destroyer and some X-Wings on top of your shelf.
With Star Trek i never even considered getting into action figures (they just didn't look good enough i guess), it was always Starships and with Star Wars its now completely reversed.
So... ultimately i have a bunch of Stormtroopers standing in front of an ooooold Deep Space Nine model.
