the show has deviated from the books a bit already and according to Hugh Howie who answered my question on Reddit's AMA the other day and said ep 10 has a huge divergence from the book. and for those of us who have read the books, we probably know what this is. I think I have a good idea anyway. the whole "Quinn's letter" plot thread is new. Walker was a man in the books. etc.
