RJG Machine Sensor Animation

In-mold cavity pressure sensors gather information needed to assure quality on every shot. Sensors can be placed directly in the cavity or behind transfer pins, like shown here. When plastic is injected into the mold, the sensor sends pressure data to a process control system, such as the CoPilot. The CoPilot then tells you whether or not the part is to spec. If the shot does not stay within set boundaries, it is automatically sorted out.
