LOVING RELATIONSHIPS -- The Spiritual Molecules of Emotion
In the second session, Laibl Wolf discusses the nature of Relationships in context of the Netzach, crossing the interpersonal boundary; Hod, restraining exuberance and excitement to match the object of one's emotions; and Yesod, the intense commitment that defines a truly loving relationship.
I never thought I'd be watching something like this for research. Very well articulated, sir. Not even Jewish, but the Tree of Life always fascinated me.
I have tried, and failed, many times to penetrate the teachings of Kabbalah. For the first time ever I have learnt more in less than five minutes of this talk than I have in many years of struggling to comprehend these concepts, so thank you!
Informative and really well explained. Thanks Rabbi. I have always enjoyed your lectures.

Excellent spiritual philosophy. Also found in a synonymous nature in many mystery school teachings, such as Egyptian and Hindu teachings, even the druidic schools, etc. Indeed, for truth is One! Thanks kindly for sharing this! Peace and Love!
Yesod means foundation?
Everything above rests on it?
Thank You,Sir!

Baruch HaShem Rabi.
study this well!
The audio engineering is annoying. I would have much preferred the Rabbi was mic'd properly, versus the audio background noise scrubbed in post.

Regarding the assumption that freedom of choice is preferable to being an automaton when it comes to choosing between the inclinations good and evil of our actions, I'm not so sure I'd not rather be an angel living among angels, where none of us has freedom of choice to harm one another.
Angels have freedom of choice (in the literal, western sense), it's just that they have no incentive/reason whatsoever to do what's contrary to truth/goodness, unlike us.
Many cult leaders and tyrants would agree with you and present a path to achieve as a goal a state similar to what you describe.
if you can't choose between good and evil, then you don't have any merit. I would rather have merit. I hope this helps.
