Personal theory, i think THIS fusion Yubel is our Super Fusion God In the anime Yubel wants to fuse all 12 dimensions and fills them with her "love", which means pains, suffering etc.. all that bad stuff And this Fusion Yubel needs Yubel itself + 1 or more monsters on the field, that maxed at 12 monsters as its material (thanks to Extra Monster Zones) 12 monsters = 12 dimensions And then Yubel shows her "love" by giving opponents damage (500 per materials) I hope u understand where i'm going, sorry for bad english💀 So yeah.. I'm surprised you didn't mention how the Yubel fusion monster is an obvious reference to Flame Wingman. It has the same effect and adds one of Yubel's dragon heads from her later forms in place of Flame Wingwan's iconic arm.
Oh wow, if you look closely you can actually see a tiny bit of Jaden's hair in Eternal Favorite, that's so cool. Spirit of Yubel is also an obvious reference to Spirit of Neos, being in the exact pose, but theres another neat touch. Spirit of Neos' background looks like the Gentle Darkness of Neo-Space, whereas Spirit of Yubel's pose has a white "shadow" which could represent the Light of Destruction they were tortured by. Or that light is a silhouette of either Neos or Judai. It's hard to say but the ambiguity is beautiful. Other commenters already pointed out that you forgot the new Grinder Golem. I like that both it and Samara Lotus were monsters that Yubel used because they fit their Archetype, but then later got banned. So retraining them and locking the effects to Yubel is a fascinating compromise. And of course Nightmare Pain being Yubel's attack name also restoring the Anime's version of the card since each of the forms had full damage reflection when Yubel attacks, not just the Ultimate Nightmare form we got.
I love that these new cards is the parallels of Jaden's HERO monsters like Flame Wingman as the Fusion with the head on hand and then Spirit of Yubel is obviously Spirit of Neos probably referencing The Waves of Chaos since the two are of Light and Dark.
1:04 I speak German and just think it's hilarious that this is the official name, even though it's written pretty weird (grammatical). Btw, it means "The forever Love guardian" - which is very fitting I think, with Yubel being Jaden's protector and loving him in every lifetime lol
This is some top tier artwork for these cards. It really took me back to the gx days and watching Jaden face Yubel and grow as characters. I’m also very thankful that Mature Chronicle can only search super poly in Yubel theme decks as its a good anime reference while also preventing other archetypes from getting that search access in the tcg/ocg
I love how Spirit of Yubel is just a mirror of Spirit of Neos. Each of them is protecting something too, which adds to the overall aspect of the cards. And the fact that both search out support cards is really cool too. I also like how the way the cards are designed, as if they act as lines of defense for Judai/Jaden. Neos, being in space, is the first line of defense. Then Yubel is closer to the castle, making them the second line of defense. Makes you wonder who or what's the third line of defense (probably Winged Kuriboh or Flame Wingman). And even the effects reference this Spirit of Neos is invincible in battle, as if he's trying to say "Back off." Spirit of Yubel does the same, but when destroyed by an effect, they bring out the true form of Yubel and say "Try it again, I dare you."

Since the materials to make this card is very very generic and you can use a total of 12 monsters on the field (including a Yubel, of course) to summon it! Phantom Knightmare is to represent a timeline where Yubel won the duel against Judai
The new fusion yubel monster and super poly has the ability to clear your opponents entire board and deal hefty lp damage with quite ease. But can easily be disrupted if your opponent knows to just keep you from having a yubel monster on the the the field.

All them are great with awesome references in their artwork. I hope Komami uses the Phantom Nightmare as opportunity to print some of Yubel’s cards that were used in this duel such as Zero Sprite and Fiend Rose. The former of which I think would be great for the deck as displayed for the evolutions and retrains. I know this next one is a bit of a stretch but this could be the chance to get Super Fusion God that Yubel was going to summon with Super Polymerization. If we were able to get Colourless this year, (another card that was meant to summoned using Super Polymerization but never got to the chance to see or know it’s effects), who’s to say we might get the last unknown and possibly OP fusion from GX? What do you think?
When they print it, Super Fusion God HAS to have an Instant Win condition if you summon it with its anime listed Materials. If that's on there, then everything else that could possibly be on the card will be worth it.
I love how they made samsara lotus and grinder golem a part of the architype too since yubel used them in her deck, especially the lotus! It feels like a weird dream seeing yubel get a sea of support that actually seems pretty good!
I'm so happy that Yubel is getting new support as well as having a Fusion monster too I really loved the artworks from every cards, especially "Spirit of Yubel" and "Eternal Favorite"
Yubel also got Geist Grinder Golem, wich is also a pretty cool card, that you could easily use with floodgates like Rivalry or Gozen, since it summons itself to your opponent

You missed Geist Grinder Golem which a retrain of Grinder Golem which Yubel used against Adrian and was one of the 5 cards banished via Spell Chronicle. The retrain reference’s episode 150 where Yubel draws on the darkness of Echo's spirit to summon Yubel to their field and Grider Golem to Adrian’s field. Yubel then uses Echo's darkness to control Golem into attacking Yubel using its damaging effect to win the Duel for Yubel and killing Adrian and Echo in the process. Really cool art and reference to that duel which I thought was really awesome back to forth action between Yubel summoning the Sacred Beasts and Adrian desperately getting Exodia and his backup strategy with Fog King and Fog Castle.

It has the player send 1 card from the hand to the GY (like Super) and it fuses using both sides of the field. The fact that it also requires a Yubel monster is the cherry on top because of her connections to Super Poly.

I'm pretty stoked about these new Yubel cards, they adequately deserve to be created for the archetype, plus if i may get to speculate: Does this mean we shall see the reprinting of Neos Wiseman in this set, just a reprint with modern era text? Because if that's true, Neos Kluger's second effect can finally be playable. And to add, i do hope they keep on the Gx train, because if I'm thinking, we may see the ACTUAL factual printing of Yusuke Fujiwara's Clear archetype as well as Darkness' Zero, Infinity, and Darkness cards. Also some more Phantom Knight support cuz Konami likes their puns, and it kinda makes sense: Phantom Knights - Phantom K-Night-mare? Ha-ha, funny.

I’m so excited for these to come out, I’ve been a huge yubel fan for about the whole time I’ve been into yugioh as a whole and I fell in love with these cards and their artwork, references, and parallels to the hero cards

The fusion you can put in a neos deck. All you need is one yubel in the deck and because of wiseman your going to have a yubel. A combo you could do is. Use neos fushion send neos and yubel to the grave to summon neos kluger. Then use that new yubel card to summon her to the field then use super with your yubel and all your opponent monster up to 6. Then your opponent take 3000 damage. And you have neos kluger and the yubel fusion.
I loved seeing all the new support coming out! My favorite definitely has to be the fusion for sure! These cards look like they can be used in more than just it's own deck so maybe i'll see if i can use them together with a dark or Judai deck! oh and the new lotus monster is also a reference to the original Samsara lotus that she used!

Opening of the Spirit Gates is a really good one for Yubel. Consider Pot of Desires for a plus 3 advantage using 2 chronical counters, and Skill Drain combos with Nightmare Pain for easy otk

One big referance you missed is that the fusion monster has one of "ultimate nightmare"s dragon heads for a hand. Its a referance to Flame Wingman

I started comparing the new Yubel cards with the Neos support and they ended up being a lot more similar than I thought
They are both important to Judai after all. Headcanon, Yubel and Neos spirits are best friend.
The fusion actually needs 1 *+* effect monsters not just 1 so it can use as many as you want but at least 1

Colorless never felt worth the hype for me so Super Fusion God is their 2nd chance.

The trap also references when Yubel returns to Earth and uses her wings as a heat shield for when reenters the atmosphere.
If you look super close at the centre of Eternal Favourite, you can actually see Judai. God I love anime references in cards.
Eternal favorite is an eternal soul for Yubel. This is not it’s own archetype, it’s a sub archetype for Jaden.

I think you forgot the Grinder Golem retrain. Grinder Golem was used by the Johan posesed Yubel against Amon/Adrian.

I personally think Yubel’s new form should have been a Hero card. That would have been an awesome way for Konami to acknowledge Yubel’s redemption.

Opening of the Spirit Gates is a really good one for Yubel. Consider Pot of Desires for a plus 3 advantage using 2 chronical counters, and Skill Drain combos with Nightmare Pain for easy otk
