looking good Luke...what you might be able to do is mount the wiring underneath the lower hull and just drill some holes to feed wire up to the LEDs....i'd possibly consider some hot glue for the battery holder maybe?

I wont do it that way mate as i want to focus my attention as much on the underside of the vehicle as i do everywhere else, not a proper build unless you paint and weather the bottom 😜

I think the other tank the Shamrock is still out there to build as a follow up.

Hi there Luke.......watching with a great big smile of 😺feline😺 pleasure!! Really like your colour choice's, isn't it nice to paint a tank in attractive colours for a change!!. The solution to the battery/switch problem, is to place them loosely under part B 39. Your find the turret basket bottom part A12+13 completely covers them up, very easy to get too when you need too. Impending release of the all new Border Models BC-002 Grizzly Battle Tank with Lightning set!! ''YES PLEASE.......Sir, I'll take 2 if you don't mind!!''😻 Friendly greetings from Londinium Britannica.

Thanks for that mate, I have been messing around the last couple of days and that’s pretty much what I thought, I grizzly is on the list and definitely refreshing to use a different colour palette 👍

I might be tempted to cut two holes in the base plate and mount the switch and battery on either side of the engine, pointing down. You'd be able to switch it on and off from underneath, as well as replacing the battery. The downside is that you couldn't permanently affix the tank to the base. The upside is that all the wiring is hidden under the radiator/battery plate.

Hi Luke.. two thoughts watching the Edelweiss videos
You mentioned not speaking / reading Japanese. I only speak English (plus gibberish and profanity *lol*), so I use the Google Translate app on my phone. Just open the app, select the from / to languages - in this case Japanese to English - and use the phone's camera to picture the Japanese text. Swipe your finger over the text and Google will translate it for you. I've done it with Cyrillic so it will work with non-Arabic letters.
Secondly the electrics. Tape the wires down with masking tape. Much easier than fabricating brackets /and/ easier to move if the initial placement doesn't work. Ref the switch and battery box.. make a base for the model and mount the switch and battery box in the base. Then you don't have to hack about with the model at all. Win!
