Another more overlooked Batman game is the Dark Knight Rises mobile game. It's nothing super special but it's an Arkham-like game that even has an open world, considering how low powered most phones were back then, it's impressive that a full open Gotham was in it and a watered down combat system that was still pretty fun (at least for 13 year old me when I found it on the app store) and with similar grappling and cape gliding mechanics to the Arkham games it was a damn good time, even if the story was a poorly realised version of the worst movie in the Dark Knight trilogy. It's the only portable Batman game (not counting the PC ports on the steam deck and other handheld PC's) that really adheres to the 3D console Arkham experience, and I wish the PS Vita got a better game than Arkham Origins Blackgate (which is still good but obviously not the same kinda experience as the mainline console counterpart)

Batman Begins Video Game was my first introduction to the universe. But Arkham Asylum was something I'll never forget. Experiencing these characters for the first time ever, I'm very grateful for the success of this game. It began my deep dive into comics, films and series that soon formed my entire childhood. I believe that franchise is responsible for creating an entire generation of superhero fans that even Marvel couldn't replicate in gaming. The entire Marvel roster has dominated the film industry, but the Batman Franchise has single-handedly carried the gaming superhero genre for almost 15 years. Now that's called impressive world-building.

I loved the Telltale Batman series, as a huge fan of the comics and just Batman/Bruce Wayne in general it was super cool to be in his shoes and able to make choices
R.I.P Kevin Conroy. Deeply saddened by the news of the passing of one of the best Batman actors there was. I'll always think of him, in terms of The Bat-Man, alongside Adam West and Michael Keaton, as the animated series wouldn't have been as so successful without him, I wasn't around when Batty '66 was first seen but I caught the repeated viewings and saw Batty '89 at the cinema and saw Batty TAS on Saturday mornings in the early '90's, and was very pleased to finally own each on DVD when I got older, but have since sadly mislaid 'em since I moved home. Very fond memories mixed with the emotion that comes from the loss of a vital part of a piece of my past life.
Outstanding job putting this video together, with every post you outdo yourself my friend, this must have been a lot of hard work, recording, editing and producing this long and entertaining video. PRAISES TO YOU MY FRIEND, BRAVO!
I dont think much people, including myself initially have noticed this on Arkham Knight that after Joker toxin started to effect Batman, all the statue faces from the buildings and everything started to change into Joker faces. Has anyone noticed that?
Yes. Many of the posters and billboards change like this. If you look away and then look back, they appear normal again. Very cool detail Rocksteady snuck in

I’ve always been intrigued by Dark Tomorrow, partly because it’s never talked about but also because the premise and story seem interesting.
Always impressed by the amount of work that’s gone into making these.
You deserve so much views and subscribers for the amount of effort you have put into making this documentary 🔥🔥
Heavily enjoy stumbling across hardwork content like this, its what makes UA-cam worth it.
man, your intro is getting better and better. this is the peak of documentary. lots of passion into it
Outstanding job putting this video together, with every post you outdo yourself my friend, this must have been a lot of hard work, recording, editing and producing this long and entertaining video.
PRAISES TO YOU MY FRIEND, BRAVO!
I LOVE these long Retrospectives 😊
Keep up the outstanding work Nick‼️😊
congratulation 500k ❤ road to 1 million subscribers 🌹
I dont think much people, including myself initially have noticed this on Arkham Knight that after Joker toxin started to effect Batman, all the statue faces from the buildings and everything started to change into Joker faces. Has anyone noticed that?
Yes. Many of the posters and billboards change like this. If you look away and then look back, they appear normal again. Very cool detail Rocksteady snuck in
I'm gna sleep good tonight! And then I'm gna be entertained tmrw afternoon! I love these long videos from you nick! They are always the best!
Finally! And I mean this in the best way possible. Stellar work once again Nick.
What am amazing video!! I love Batman and this video brought all the good, the bad and the ugly that came with his video game crusades. Thanks for this one. The Arkham series has to be my favorite. 🦇
I’ve lost track of the times I’ve had this video play in the household. SO WELL DONE. Would love to see a “history of Spider-Man” games

Excellent Documentary. Very informative, and your delivery is just right. Always look forward to your videos. I loved the Animated Series in the 90s, and Arkham City is one of my favorite games. This is encouraging me to check out the other Arkham games.
Commenting to acknowledge this great piece of work
What a fantastic video!! Loved it ♥
RIP Kevin Conroy
I probably won't get a chance to watch this till Sunday but just wanted to say I really like your work and have been subscribed for a while. I follow several game reviewers and each of you has a quite distinctive style and focus. This will be interesting because of the number of genres that Batman games have explored as well as the technical advances that these games have witnessed. Looking forward to it and great work.
This is probably one of the most informative Batman videos I’ve ever watched, I just loved the way you did this. Need some more Batman content!!!
Thanks for putting so much work and detail into this I love every vid!
Wow this was a feat of a video. Enjoyed it from start to finish.
Dude I absolutely love your documentaries, please keep doing more!
Damn good to look at my UA-cam today and see Nick resurface with a banger. 2+ hours aswell. Made my night. One of my favourite creators when it comes to these retrospectives/documentaries. 🤟🏻

40:05 The moment I was waiting for, one of the best video games series I've played & certainly the best Superhero Game Series ever.
Awesome video! The Risee of Sin Tsu is one of the only games I ever turned the music off on. It was horrendous😂.
beautiful documentary and an amazing work at editing and narration, i always enjoy your videos and i want to thank you for your hard work best of luck mate
Took me like 3 seating to finally watch but very well done documentary.
Your editing skills have gotten so so good over the years Nick! Real banger 🤙
Great job Nick! What I would like in the futur for a Batman game is a God of War or Last of Us type of gameplay/storytelling. More like a movie maybe?
Bro, the amount of work you put in to this video it's outstanding, keep up the great work
Thank you for this documentary! It's impressive how much work you put into it.
This is top tier! Thank you so much for this.
Such a good video, this series of games is easily in my top 3.
Nah man I've recently found love again in batman, it was a long time since I saw or played one of his games/shows or movies, now I'm replaying every arkham game and rewatching almost every movie.
R. I. P Kevin Conroy, even tho i never really heard your voice and contribution to batman till now (I'm not a native English speaker), I now understand why you'll be missed
Fantastic work mate. Really appreciate the effort put into this!

I’m soooo glad my algorithm lead me to you. You are a treasure. The level of detail you get to and the video editing is mind blowing. Thank you for what you do. This made my day.
I’ve always been intrigued by Dark Tomorrow, partly because it’s never talked about but also because the premise and story seem interesting. Though I’ve never had the displeasure of playing the game, I feel like a full scale remake from the ground up could actually result in a great game if it’s handled with the same ambition and creativity as the Arkham games.
