Actual absurd levels of editing 10/10 instantly. Direction is excellent, song choice isn't something I'd normally accept but the editing MAKES it work which is how it should be. More than anything you have a clear understanding of what the content is so its even more amazing.

Funnily enough, the song wasn't something i'd pick normally either, but it just fit so well thematically, and i just envisioned some great edits with it, especially with the final part of the song. Songs will always be hit or miss for some, but you're right, editing can greatly affect how we appreciate a song we previously wouldn't have thought much of. Similar to how we hear a song in a movie or tv show, and suddenly we associate the song with something awesome, and it just hits harder, even when listening to it outside of the movie/show. Yeah, the song choice made sense, since the asmv focuses mainly on Shinei. I am still working on making better sfx, sometimes i feel like i overdo it a bit since i recreate most of the sfx for all of the action bits. It's a lot of fun, but it can be hard to tell where the DNA of the original is, so i'm not sure if this is an issue, or something people would appreciate. man 86 is such a good anime, and this editing was masterfully done. as someone who's watched the anime enough times to understand every little detail and it's meaning, i love that you put in a lot of the really powerful scenes. also, your transitions are amazing!

This with 'call of silence' match 86 soooo well, and this is one of the best AMVs for 86, the English version for 86 is fire too,( the VAs for the show nailed it ) overall all three are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Also, How is it that you don't have that many subs?!?!?, your AMV is waaaay better then majority of AMVs out there, literally, the sound effects and song are perfectly balanced, I didn't hear more of this or more of that, the timing was on point, the sounds were crisp( I had my volume high when I heard it so it kinda hurt my ears lol ) but seriously even though my volume was high, it sounded amazing, Stupendous job man, bravo 👏👍🔥
Yeah i can imagine Call of Silence would work well into this type of asmv. Haven't checked out the dub, but i usually prefer subbed version of most anime, but thanks for the recommendation :D My channel is still relatively new, with little to no content, but hopefully more people will stay after i make a few more videos. The thing is, my vids are very inconsistent too with different genres and styles, because i'm just trying out some different things. Im happy to hear you liked it, and enjoyed some of the technical aspects too! Most of the sfx are recreational, and i enjoy making them and attempt to balance it out for interesting effects, so its dope to hear that they stood out to you :) Thank you for the kind words.
@@PAGAN_YT i honestly think the dub is better than the sub, or at least some of the scenes most definitely are. you're amv literally feels like a trailer for a movie, which is both on your part for editing, and the other part is how good the show is alone. 86 could totally be a 3 hr movie, and while it may lose some of the slow burn character and plot buildups, i still think it could be great.
As an 86 fan your amv is really perfect. still waiting for next season i just fucking love this anime and cant understand why they need so long. keep going . love it

Thank you, i am still very sloppy with my thumbnails, but this one turned out a bit better than the previouis ones, and i think that is partially why this video gets a bit more traction. Doing good, trying to cook but can't find any good songs to use for amv's, guess i am trying to be too meticulous or something. But i still got a few projects in the works.
