You might want to check out Spiritfarer. It´s a pretty chill game where you collect anthro spirits on your ship and help them with their unfinished buisness. Sure, it doesn´t have the Disney factor but honestly the characters kinda creep me out in this game. Really makes you appreciate Animal Crossing more

My husband worked for Disney Interactive/Playdom making games and it was the first job where he was the MOST experienced: people he worked with had such little experience the code is just hacked together on everything they tried to put out. It was the BEST severance package we could have asked for though 😂
Didn't they end up mostly killing Disney Interactive anyway? But yeah, the fact that Disney's in-house games have had some mixed development and care afterwards doesn't say much for how well they can pick a game studio to develop their game. This isn't supposed to be a mobile game, but it's being developed by a company who, from my knowledge, has primarily developed mobile games.

The camera is out of control - I had to go to settings and lower it to the lowest sensitivity, which helped. Theres also a streamer mode if you want to avoid playing disney songs on stream. Although apparently that was still a little broken they may have fixed it by now.
Definitely would be down to watch a series. The issue I’ve had with Disney games in the past is how overcomplicated they are plotwise. But if this does eventually settle into a nice peaceful farming game I’d be into it for sure. It looks really pretty.
I absolutely love this game. It’s way more than a farming game. There are tasks and scavenger hunts that keep it fun and exciting. It’s cozy and low key but there is always something to do. As someone who does not like combat or complicated games this was a perfect match! Plus, who doesn’t like interacting with Disney characters??
I'm over 30, not even a big Disney fan, but have already put like 45 hours of game play into this! It's been fun to me! I've been a Sims player my whole life, so I guess I'm used to paying a lot for broken games. xD The bugginess doesn't bother me, since they're at least making efforts to fix theirs, and never claimed it was done.
I'm 60 and have put in the same amount of time. I've also been enjoying it despite the growing pains. The devs seem responsive so, hopefully, things will improve steadily.

Except there’s more than meets the eye I love the way they used mechanics from different games and refined them and made them more accessible for all! At some point I want to write a review on why this game is so good for they type of game it is.
I'm nearly 40 and LOVE this game. It's so relaxing and adorable, and unlike Animal Crossing I feel like there's a plot and a reason for doing things. And yes, it's early access so one shouldn't expect it to be polished and perfect (though for early access it feels finished...it's better than any EA game that's released as finished!)

It's not as bad as people think. If you don't want to pay for it, don't. It will be free in a year and the only thing that will be monetized will be cosmetics. The game has a lot of content, making the price worth it. Just say this game isn't for you and move on

It's not as bad as animal crossing. The only thing it affects is the time of day, what appears in store that sells furniture and clothes, crop growth (but only a max of a few hours), and character will sleep but not for the entire night. The gameplay doesn't suffer much at all

I knew the game wouldn't have been made by Disney themselves as they axed their videogame division some years ago, and it turns out it was made by Gameloft after licencing a lot of Disney properties, from what I can tell.

The Forgetting is so bad that one of the first missions from Scrooge is to ask Goofy’s favorite day, in which it’s May 25, and he can’t remember why… It’s his birthday. May 25th is Goofy’s birthday. Things only get worse when you find out all the ways Characters either escaped or attempted to bypass the Forgetting.
