The only sad thing about this is that the last time I saw this group, you could be right up to the stage. They had people coming up on stage and crowd-surfing off, and they had people coming up and singing with the group. It was the best fan-friendly show that I have ever been to!!
I was at this show too and I have to agree! It was an awesome night and the pits were so much fun and it was all love! Brothers in arms just rocking out!! Everyone was so friendly and genuinely looking out for one another. It was like we were all one big punk family for a night! I only came to the Sunday show. The Sat night before I was in Cincinnati and saw Bayside with New found glory! It was an awesome trip to Ohio that I will never forget!
Good luck ever finding a following like they had in the 1990s. They were the band if you were into this type of music. If you were ever at the hometown Throwdown you could just feel how enthusiastic the crowd was and how absorbed they were in every single song
I was at this show and it was f-ing amazing!! Ben Carr was on it that night with all the moves and the guys sounded great. The pits were fun that night!! Rancid was also amazing!!
I know what you are saying but He actually prefers not to have a spotlight on him. They did that on purpose. Thats also a reason why they have Ben Carr. People look and enjoy seeing Ben dancing and it takes some pressure off of Dicky because not everybody is staring at him while he sings. 17:37 he even says it himself lol 😂
It’s unfortunate that we lost this band because of ignorance about vaccines. I’ve seen them live more times than I can remember and knowing it’ll never happen again over something so stupid makes me sad.
Not sure which way you are going with this one on the ignorance. Myself I refused them much like Dicky did. It is not something I was going to take ever as I am more interested in not only short term side effects but long term as well. So to me ignorance is believing that they actually work for what they say they work for.
remember when everyone turned on Dickey and he was just using his brain? Dickey, if you see this, I'm sorry this happened to you. There's a whole legion of us that love you AND your message. Even if you supported covid vax, I'd still love your music bro. A highschool staple for me. Love you dude....Great music, thank you.
@VAPatriot757 pretty sure he was agreeing with your post... I'm glad to hear he was against the vax though, shows he can think for himself. As Kimmel's band leader, that is a pleasant surprise.
@@ioncewasmikey I was against them all together. Oddly rushed to market as quickly as they were with no test data. Almost as if they had all of these things just sitting in a warehouse waiting to be handed out. And it wasn't just one company that put them out, it was at least 3 that put them out at the same time and all had the same make up as well. For me it was red flag after red flag and it was just me saying no to drugs, especially questionable drugs we never heard of.
You clearly have no idea what “wokeness” is or who the Bostons are if you believe that. Go listen to police beat! It’s literally what the song is about.

@@pugmalleysame. It was totalitarianism that killed the band. And ignorance of alternative treatments.
