There's a free myBus ride from Fuente Osmena to SM Seaside City. Fuente Osmena is much closer to where you ate at Doming's Ngohiong House in downtown Cebu. It's the only free route of MyBus to attract shoppers and visitors from uptown Cebu area.
Yes, we saw that free bus ride but we kinda took another route so we weren't able to avail that one. Maybe next time because we are planning to comeback for a longer duration next time. 😁
On your next visit to Cebu, bring your family to Cebu Safari and Adventure Park. It's the biggest (300 hectares) and only world-class zoological and botanical garden in the Philippine comparable to other prominent zoological parks in the world with all its amenities and facilities. Your family and kids would surely it there as it is also an educational park with exotic animals from all over the world set in more than 300 hectares of beautiful lush mountains and valleys of Carmen. Trams are aplenty that would take visitors around the park if they feel tired of walking. You would surely love it there.
Actually, long candles are not allowed inside the premises of Basilica del Sto. Nino. There's a huge area inside the church premises designated for lighting candles. And they're free. Though there are donation boxes installed below the racks and it's up to you if you donate or not or how much you can happily donate to the church. If you find unlighted candles inside the church building, they're mostly placed by non-devotees or first-time visitors to the church like you who are not yet familiar with the place.
That's ngohiong, not lumpia. Ngohiong is pure vegetarian food while lumpia (fresh or shanghai) has meat in it, either pork or chicken. Ngohiong only contains shredded coconut palm heart (ubod), carrots, mung sprouts (tawge), chayote, etc.

Thank you for that. I did not do my research on that food. We were brought there on the spot so just rolled with it. Sorry 😇
