After WWII German companies complicit with the fa*cist regime, that supplied weaponry, chemicals for the death camps, that readily gave up their Jewish staff, continued to exist, right to this day.
MAGA will come to an end, and we must remember those that were complicit in this regime. No free ride, no excuses, no forgetting.

This is happening on a personal level as well. When someone shows you they have no empathy for someone they will definitely not have it with you as well. I have happily let go of those people.

I’m feeling that with my sister. She has not a grain of empathy for anyone and it’s terrifying and confusing. I don’t understand how a whole movement can delete empathy for millions of people! They’re like cookie cutter people!😢

    • @Terra_Lopez

@@ashgreenspinner1503 Yes, to me one of the big things is that it's been shown in experiments, over and over, just how strongly most people avoid doing something that the mass of people disapprove of. I think that stops many people doing and saying evil. When the mass censure is taken away, as the video above so eloquently says, the people who only were good to avoid public censure don't have that 'check and balance' anymore.
... But also, so many people are just so Fing manipulatable. I see it everywhere. Before Trump I saw it in the cult I grew up in. It's so depressing for me, and hard to fathom just how many people will give all of themselves to an evil leader.

My son is the same age as you are, and he, too, has said that things have to get worse before they can get better. A clear view of reality, making people look into their hearts and having to declare where they will stand, is necessary before true change can come. I love you all. ❤

Things can always get worse.. look at Israel.. We need to accept reality but we cannot be passive, as if the fever will pass with time.. that the immune system will heal.. We are the immune system of the Nation and we have to mobilize. Election in 2 years need to be a referendum .. that is the next big move we can focus on... while we try to resist everything week by week until then.

Living in the red parts of Washington state as a young person, it truly shocked me when I ran into someone who would openly speak in such hateful ways. So when I ran into people who thought that hateful individuals didn't exist to that extent anymore, I shared my experience encountering those people so they knew that the threat is real. I just wish more people understood how prevalent those thoughts are before we got to the salute situation.

Hitting rock bottom is scary, humiliating & painful, but the other side made it worth it. Stay strong, don't let them overwhelm you, keep your eye on the prize. ❤

I always go back to thinking about the people who survived Hiroshima...they witnessed some of the most horrific sights humanity has ever born witness to hands down. But the ones who survived also got to see the rebuilding of Japanese society, got to see their children and grandchildren grow up in a world that was not perfect but was safe.
My only regret is that not all of us will survive to see the other side...but I suppose that's why we have to keep fighting. To save as many of ourselves as possible.

I have felt this since after the first heartbroken panic on Nov 6. I realized that If this idiot hadn’t been elected we would never be able to truly progress because too many people refused to wake up to reality. Now they will be forced to. It does not diminish the pain and suffering we will all have to endure. We can provide community and assistance to those who need it and ease whatever pain we can. I too am optimistic.

In psychological work you must expose the broken places, as you say, the festering wounds must rise to the top. You've got to expose the triggers and from there the underlying traumas and beliefs that caused the harm. You've got to process thru (not over not around) all the ugly stuffed down emotions, horror, disbelief....all of it, debrade it, if you will, before you can come out on the other side and create an environment of healing and rebalancing. This is where we are as a nation. Exposing our toxic social psychological wounds as a culture, as a people. Too many people have avoided dealing with their own inner wounds and therefore those wounds have been expressed into the outer world culminating in this master class in awakening self awareness as a culture. It's ugly. It hurts. But we can't go back. We must buck up and forge ahead and keep trooping towards the light with as much love and compassion as we can. These are some really harsh growing pains but I believe that enough of us are already on this journey or willing to begin the journey that we'll support each other along. And the ones who refuse, who are too entrenched in their pain and hatred to make the shift, well, we'll see what the Universe has in store for them. We must each do our work for ourselves. Holding hands with of all of you in creating the New Earth with love. Thank you for being here.

My Top 5 must haves for democratic reform be it Canada or the USA... 1-Proportional representation preferably with ranked balloting and automatic run offs... 2-public campaign financing with strict budgets 3-ban on advertising outside of strict regulations that must be truthful and non-libelous 4-30 day campaigns with all official electioneering disallowed and 5-electoral college scrapped entirely. It should be a populist system based on winning 50% + 1. That way everyone can potentially run but that wouldn't hurt the main parties either because most people still don't vote 3rd party or support them despite their necessity to keep the system from going stale and corrupt as is clearly the case in both Canada and the USA... In both nations histories, only two parties have ruled basically which isn't healthy....

America is not a democracy, it's a constitutional republic. In fact, in the Federalist Papers (which was propaganda for the constitution) James Madison says the problem with the Articles of the Confederation was that it was too democratic. James Madison didn't even want a Bill of Rights, Thomas Jefferson convinced him, and Madison thought that the Bill would keep the unwashed masses at bay. Like give the poor people bread crumbs to satisfy them. This was also after Shays Rebellion, ya know, when poor veterans of the Revolutionary War for Independence weren't paid, rebelled. Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine were most likely the ones who supported the working class. America was founded on class struggle (the rich won). The Federalist wanted centralized government for the rich. The Anti-Federalists wanted decentralized power because of fear the rich would create a oligarchic constitutional republic (which happened).

FYI, I went to Journalism school here in Alberta in the mid 2000's and open Neo Nazi believes were openly tolerated and I find that disturbing especially when that student then went onto work for the Sun Media chain which of course still backs Trump and PP and all the other openly fascist people in this nation so I find the feigned shock that they know these people exist everywhere including their own hometowns particularly ironic and delicious as as the case this weekend in St Albert, a wealthy white-flight suburb of Edmonton where people were goose-stepping and sieg heiling on the streets holding "Deport them all" signs while the RCMP talked to them they did nothing nor charged them with any crime despite several hate crime laws being broken here... If you think Canada is any better? Sadly and increasingly it isn't...

    • @ayceinquisitor190
      @ayceinquisitor190 7 днів тому

No matter what WE who have seen what this is building too must keep compassion.
Another content creator, an older white? man with graying hair and a beard who spends more time slapfighting with anti comments literally said to someone (the woman who went viral for crying she got betrayed by her vote) "I hope you and your family get deported first since that's what you voted for"
That woman's problems are self inflicted, but it crossed a line to condemn innocents related to her to suffer too. That kind of speech and behavior is unacceptable even if it feels justified in FAFO.
We cannot forget to be compassionate to others. In fact, we have to teach it. Teach by example.

Legacy is being exposed as the corrupt money that buys what we end up hearing. I worked for a well known newspaper. I was appalled by what I witnessed. I had learned (by police radio) that a little boy had died, hours before his mother knew. This was torture to listen to. It was hours. The response of our two editors.... high fiving each other, "we got our headline." I knew then that I had to quite. I could not be part of this. In the age of the internet, the truth is out there for those that want to educate themselves. You and others are providing an important voice at this time.

Yeah the hate has been a-festering my whole long life, but many had snapped out of it, grown out of it, or just fit in with a the more-widespread 'tolerance' of the culture as a whole. The core of true horribles, like Tim McVeigh, were always there but few. The Trump movement itself has grown a new batch of haters, as well as given our backwoods Nazis a visible home. Both groups will diminish in number as his popularity dips, the public at large rejects them loudly and consistently enough, especially if social and mass media companies go back to not being a-holes, or seen to be a-holes. People are very malleable, and it is NOT too late.

My fear is that the hate will be normalized. I have realized lately that although the modern Nazis are using the aesthetics of the classic Nazis, they seem to be pursuing a government more similar to Putin's low-morale Mafia state than Hitler's high-morale totalitarian state. The classic Nazis relied on a highly motivated populace, and because the populace were motivated by hate, that flame burned out quickly in search of fuel. But in a low-morale Mafia state, where the head of state is motivated more by self-interest than hate, he can use a low simmering hate to keep the populace distracted without actually trying to complete the genocide. So long as they genocide slowly enough, they can keep the hate at a low simmer, keep the populace too complacent and demoralized to rebel, all the whole using that hatred to control them. If the descent happens slowly enough, they may be able to simmer every frog in this country.

There has been movies and TV shows warning us about this since the 50's. We were not paying attention or we thought it was just a movie or a TV show. I hope something good comes from all this.

Maybe it's the former army chaplain assistant in me that is used to crisis intervention, but I'm 100% on board with this perspective and I felt it right from the beginning. We grieved what we had, the illusions that we were attached to, but we're seeing the truth, and I know that we will come out on the other side despite the horrors. I've come out of the dark and absolutely hopeless situations more times than I can count.

I feel that people won’t come out the other side until they themselves have been on the unfortunate side of the hate. Until they themselves have a “find out” stage. Their lack of empathy blinds them to the hurt of others.

I have had this same feeling. It's a bit like an abscess of rage is finally coming to a head. An infection of anger and hatred that has been building since probably the Civil War. Now that the virulence has been lanced maybe it will be the catharsis this country needs to evolve and heal.

What gives me hope is that many countries have gone through terrible periods of repression and autocracy, but they have come out of these periods with stronger social and political scenes. I think of Spain and Portugal who suffered decades of fascist dictatorship. Just two generations after the collapse of those regimes, they have functioning democracies that score better than the US on various parameters. The Baltic nations were part of the USSR in my lifetime and are now healthy democracies.

I appreciate that you said you don't mean to minimize reports & predictions of suffering. Likewise, I don't mean to minimize reports & predictions of the horrid words & behaviors of the perpetrators of that suffering. Identifying the enemy is, indeed, useful, but, right up until combat is the only remaining recourse, so is diplomacy. People do hateful things out of ignorance, fear, conditioning, obtuseness, unthinking conformity, and social pressure that don't necessarily speak of an abiding hatred that was always there. Either side of any argument about what is in people's hearts is bound to be more nuanced than is given credit. We ALL are relatively ignorant - relative to all the OTHER strides we, as a species, have made in terms of understanding how the physical world works - of how WE work. We all have contributed to the dysfunctional systems within which we now are trying to operate. As white folks, those of us most in power, for example, we've had 400 years to eliminate all tolerance of systems that support racism, misogyny, etc. I think there's been enough ignorance and obtuseness to go around even among us liberals. Those on the receiving end of that may even think of us as enemies, betimes, regardless of what's in our hearts.

I hate that my sibling and his wife are part of this bullshit. My older sister is of the mind that, "if it hasen't happened, it's not a problem." I hate her for that. She has a lot more privillage than me and my mom, but her kids are obviously not totally white. I hate that she is ignoring the problems that are about to happen just because she "can't emotionally handle it." But at the same time, I have so much compassion for my sister and her kids. It really sucks for those who know and those who feel... Honestly, I wish I was a Charmed Sister, because then I could at least help! It sucks when you care and can't do anything to protect others...

The answer is inward. We've learned a lot from history, but people lack the courage to convict it outward in their own time period. People are catching up, but some of us are telling you the straight up answer right now. The faster people figure it out, the faster we can work in that direction. I'm giving some really good info on tons of videos, and I've made a couple of videos on the Covinark channel, and it's mostly unrealized so far. If we can't talk, we gotta walk. Please, people... Forget all ego and entitlement, open your minds, and listen.

I've been watching, and I believe in a couple of decades the younger people won't be motivated (they are being denied education) to keep things the same and will enthusiastically join up with BRiCS, which would then be BRiCSU or BRiCSA.
