You don't lose sdt gauge for the first 4 seconds or so

Just don't commit to the SDT. Use it for a second or two then get out. Holding the DT button also works to charge the SDT gauge consistently and have it ready. It's basically like Dante's SSS SDT mechanic but easier to achieve. You'll have used like 5% of your SDT gauge so holding the button lets you charge and make it seem like you have near infinite SDT

Its a slightly modified version of bury the light that only plays on that fight btw, you can look up on youtube "bury the light stage 20".

The duel still plays on the mission right before, mission 19 this one is mission 20 and you just fight Dante again which is disappointing I guess Capcom got lazy as they have for a lot of their games actually

@@darkslayer9789 Ngl first time i played i expected a dante fight at 19 and then a Nero fight at 20 (with it ending on a loss for Vergil, like you still had to win the fight but when you'd deplete his health he would just do an unavoidable attack and knock you out), its kind of weird on how they just cut out nero from the end like that and instead just put 2x dante fights lol, but yeah in that case they'd have to design an entire nero boss fight just for that so they just went the eaiser way out.
