The magentic catches at the top of the doors would also be a good plan to keep the doors true in the frames.

I’m stunned as always by, your mad skills Andrea. You too Dean, your filming, editing and music choices, are a big part of what makes it’s such a joy to watch your videos. You finally did something I didn’t love Andrea! The books in the staging being faced with the spines inwards gave me serious eye twitch!!! However, the staging still looked so beautiful so, what do I know?! :) Still, my favourite part of the process is when, you sit back and just study the piece you’ve finished, it’s special.

omg omg omg.....I am in awe of what you have made andrea....so beautiful...to be honest when you started with the black stain I was like nooooooo don't stain it black it will look like ikea black laminate kitchen cupboards, but guess what I was so wrong. it doesn't look like that at all....andrea this cabinet is absolutely stunning....you absolutely nailed it....the inside stain is stunning, the hardware is beautiful....you really have the skills to pay the bills Andrea....yes it is a family heirloom without any doubt...beautiful....congratulations.

It’s absolutely beautiful, I’m so impressed! One tip I’d give is to make sure you anchor this thing to the wall at the top, so little ones don’t inadvertently pull it down on top of themselves.

I don't usually like to make comments, but this cabinet build is "not stunning." Andrea, as a woodworker myself, I builded few pieces of furniture for my home. I have put my heart into it because you are building this for your family, and you put your heart, not your mind, into the project. Thus, I call this piece of furniture a piece of art because you, when out of your way to create this art and it is all your Andrea, I love your creative style. Great video. The editing is perfect. Beautiful cabinet. The color choice is perfect. The only thing that Bothers me about the piece is your glass installation. With small kids around the house there is a good possibility of glass getting broken and that caulk removal is going to be a chore when you replace it. I have always used glazier points to install glass and have never had a problem with them. The trick to installing the points is to use a putty knife tucked into the lower inside corner and tap the putty knife gently to insert them. Tucked into the corner that way, you are away from any edge that can bend.
My favorite part was when he walked in and saw that there was a door already installed. "I just started thinking, I wonder if I can put one on myself and it turns out I can!"

Sharp corners on picture glass also break easily. I used to own a picture framing store and even a slight tap on a corner could crush the point and send cracks radiating from the corner. Custom glass businesses probably don't want customers coming back with cracked glass to replace every day! Also, I don't know what measurement you gave the glass people but in framing, we always cut the glass 1/8" smaller than the frame. That allows 1/16 all round and is necessary to get the glass to go in and allow for expansion/contraction of the wood as it ages.

Hi, this piece of furniture looks stunning. Beautiful work!!! When it comes to cleaning the glass, you may need another round of silicone to make sure when you clean from the outside, it doesn't slide out. Unless you find those metal pieces for extra support.

Absolutely beautiful!!! At first I was worried about the inside stain color being too dark against the black stain, but it’s not! Projects take so long but when the result is something beautiful it’s worth the wait.

Very nice! excellent work! Accent lights would be stunning. Amazon has lots of black little spot lights. You could add a strip of wood to the front edge of the shelves to hide them. LED strips are nice too! Andrea you are my hero!
