The amount of people that complain about this game, not having enough content is crazy. Just watching this reminds me of how great this game actually is and how much stuff there is to do in this game on top of all of the weapons. Every strike, exotic, mission, brave, even the stuff that was taken out of the game was fun Like the menagerie. I mean, honestly the only people that really have negative things to say are the same ones that also don’t work normal jobs and sit around on Tuesday. Reset completely finish. Everything there is to do in the game on all three characters in one day and then get irritated because they don’t have anything to do for the week because they don’t have a life! Going back into exotic missions like this with new sub classes and weapons makes it even more fun than the original
I agree. Most people I see complaining always start their comments with something like, "As someone with 10k hours on this game." It's like, dude, no wonder you're bored. I maxed out a few different builds on Oldschool Runescape after putting one thousand plus hours in and I got bored as fuck, sold everything, and moved on to destiny. If you don't enjoy a game anymore, stop playing it, and stop complaining about it. It ruins it for people thinking about trying the game. I refused to play D2 for a long time because of all of the negativity surrounding it from the no lifers. It turned out to be my favorite game ever.
The game is very fun to play and it has a crazy amount of content. I personally like going into all those older exotic missions and dungeons with new loadouts, classes, artifact perks etc. As you mentioned, it can be even more fun than the original. However, I think the issue is that there is not much incentive to go do older content. Destiny is a looter shooter after all, and everyone expects some sort of actual reward from each and every activity they do. If you can focus on the fun of the mission and the gameplay itself, then it all feels much better!
This mission is absolutely bonkers, and I have grown to appreciate it as a challenge to players, whether doing it solo or in a fireteam. It demands two crucial things from players: how combat and parkour efficient you are within the time limit. I completed this with a fireteam, but without knowing the path and trying it solo again and again, I couldn't have done it. Love that Bungie kept this and Whisper of the Worm as legacy exotic missions for all players to try out. Hope to complete it solo someday. Great run, Keers! 👍
Cheers! Zero Hour is a great mission, and to be honest I think it's arguably the hardest of the exotic missions due to how tight the timer is in this one. It does require some practice and prior knowledge for sure!
Maybe im just dumb but is there honestly any reason to use this helmet over the exotic class item with Inmost Light/Coyote (I know it can be a pain in the as to get specific rolls)? I'm pretty sure you get more uptime on all abilities with the latter.
That's a good question. I think you spam abilities enough with mask of fealty anyhow as you get a lot of melee energy on pretty much any melee hit. And it also supercharges shurikens, which is really noticeable, and that is the main thing, i.e. you can freeze targets with just one shuriken (can be helpful against unstoppables), and it generates a small crystal on contact with surfaces. All in all, I would say that the other great option is Inmost Light/Cyrtarachne for a more defensive loadout for high woven mail uptime. But mask of fealty is a great offensive option.
