I know this is off subject but what do you think if we can get Ben Johnson to be our head coach and with McCarthy probably being fired by the cowboys we can lure in Dan Quinn to run the defense and stick it to the cowboys twice a year.
No way, Dan Quinn is not making a lateral move as DC. In the NFL business i don't think he can anyway, he has to be interviewed for a head coaching position.

I wouldn’t count on it, but if the Cowboys clean house and Dan doesn’t get a HC offer he likes then I wouldn’t count it out. Wouldn’t be the first time a veteran coach coordinated for a young head coach. But I think Dan gets an offer of his own.
I will continue to scream for Saquan Barkley. Barkley is schemeless. He's natural run game plug and play. He's a QB protector and an amazing checkdown. I like BRob. But we absolutely need game changer at that position. Particularly if we're not able to complete the O-line build. Plus we take away the Giants menace against us.
BRob 2023: 178 carries, 733 yards, 5 tds; 4.1 avg 36 receptions, 368 yards 4 tds; 10.2 avg Saquan 2023: 247 carries, 962 yards, 6 tds; 3.9 avg 41 receptions, 280 yards, 4 tds, 6.8 avg Both lost 2 fumbles last season. Saquan is past his prime, injury prone, and not a clear upgrade over BRob - point blank. He's significantly worse in the passing game and less efficient in the running game and the Giants had a run heavy scheme with a better OL and BRob was stuck with EB. Saquan isn't CMC. I'll stick with BRob. That's like taking Montgomery or Mostert to take Saquan (And tbh I like both better), BRob has youth and he's a franchise guy. Quit trying to Dan Snyder us with a flashy name lol

You can argue that until we win a championship or Jesus returns (whichever comes first). And whether BRob is a playmaker or a JAG, there is no doubt that Barkley is not flash. Barkley is a playmaker. Teams can’t conduct interviews with coaches whose teams are still in-season. Dan Quinn’s interview in-person is first because his season is over. Bobby Slowik may return to Houston, sure, but Ben Johnson has already made it known he’s ready for a HC job. There are no guarantees in this business or any other, but Washington is in a much better position to pick a good coach rather than accept who will take the job. Stick around, things will get better.
