@@next-genagents7731 I am looking at the Canadian rules. After cap is $275 each deal transaction fee. It’s not common for any agent to close 33 deals AFTER the cap of contributing $12000 in commission already. Real is a very expensive brokerage in this way.
Yeah, the challenge is with the USD to CAD conversion. Since 1 CAD = .75 USD, really your $12k cap and transaction fee should be a lot higher to compensate. If we adjusted for the difference, then your cap would be $15k and the transaction fee would be $356 CAD. But they wanted to keep the same numbers as the US so to compensate for this, it is harder to hit Elite Agent in Canada. But the trade-off is that it is far cheaper for probably 95% of agents in Canada than agents in the US.
Also, I don't know if you have a team or not but a portion of your teams transaction fees count towards your Elite Agent cap. It depends on what % you take from their commissions. If you take 50% then 50% of their transaction fee count towards your Elite Agent transaction fee cap. So in this case, you could close 33 deals or your team could close 66 deals or some combination of both.
I did the research. You would need to close 33 more deals after the cap of $12000 to get the commission back in terms of stock etc.
Are you looking at the Canadian or US? In the US, you need to Cap then close 21 more deals to hit Elite Agent and get the $24,000 in free stock.
