I keep coming back to this video it’s like my 8th watch and I never noticed how little subscribers you have relative to the quality it has, basically I love u you deserve better
It's something I plan to make in the future, but I just moved from my hometown and don't have access to gymnastics equipment here, so it may be a couple weeks/months.
What do you think a straight arm forward roll to support would be? Regular azarian roll to support is a B but still really hard since it is like a dragged azarian maltese. Thinking B or C
Interesting question, just by judging maltese vs. victorian difficulty, I would assume it would be a C. Elevating your body in that plane is so difficult.
@@trainershatehimI'm actually stronger at pull skills but I injured my shoulder snapping into cross once and it's been weak and prone to injuries ever since. I was able to do force a straight arm pineda after commenting but it injured that shoulder again. I can all butterfly to cross as well but not all the way thru to support
A cross uses both push and pull muscles, I could argue that your entire upper body is working to keep you in position, so yes, I think it carries over well. Having a cross doesn't necessarily mean you can do a planche though, so I would train both.
Perhaps you're right! And we don't see many gymnasts do it to this day. I still think working out those few inches of arm bend would be easier than learning the others, but I have no objective test to confirm that.

Hahah, thank you Silly Donkey. Glad the video has been valuable to you!
Azarian, Pineda and Nakayama are dreams of mine... one day... Really informative video!
How is that going
update us bro
Thanks for the spot in the azarian...
Can you please create a video how to learn Maltese on the rings? Thanks.

Thanks for the tutorial, I think i will get Azarian and Nakayama very soon :D
I actually do lol :D

Doing it to handstand is a C
Ian McKenna if you’re referring to a giant, that’s from a swing, whereas the rolling is without momentum, and has you level with the rings.
I can Nakayama for reps now but still can't pineda :') it feels similar in difficulty to butterfly for me
Interesting! Can you hold a front lever? Potential reason for that is strong push muscles, weaker pulling muscles.

Would the iron cross have good transfer to the Planche and Back Lever? It’s a pull skill that uses pushing muscles?

The argentinian Molinari with the V-Cross
Being able to hold it for a long time basically means 4secs😆
True lmao
ope I'm late a few days
Funny that you think Pineda is the easiest skill but all gymnasts do it BENT ARM.
