This is folktale story of two lovers who couldn't marry each other because of a river. The story explores the aversion to intertribal marriage amongst many african communities.
Once upon a time, in the lush and vibrant plains of West Africa, there was a village called Kazimuna. Just like in every other village, they farmed for a living and their women were the finest of traders, with their goods reaching villages far and wide. Kazimuna was surrounded by one of the longest rivers in the west African region, the Osun river. The river was also the boundary between Kazimuna and the village of Kuzukala.
