According to another video I just watched, you don't have to widen the inner panel to access the housing connector. You just remove that water seal gasket and pull the connector out through the hole.

Thank you for your video! Toyota wanted $200 for the twilight assembly and $120 labor. I bought the assemble from Amazon for $90. Took 20 minutes. The specialty fasteners holding in the LEDs were the tricky part.

How much power need? I buy led 1.3w and dont work

Couple questions, i smashed my right rear housing but the lights still work- this link you have for the housing says it doesn’t include a halogen bulb- will i be good with what i got or do i need to order a bulb too?
Also curious if i had that special wrench could i avoid having to open up all that side paneling. Thanks for this vid!!

Ya you would just need to switch the bulbs over. I don't know the answer to your second question though
