Okay this video of him playin a flat top amazed me and not in a good way I know this was a while ago but for someone gettin so much attention and considered to be a professional musician even at the time this was recorded his rhythm and strumming and all around guitar playing is AWFUL!!! I was playin at this level after a month and a half with zero experience at all BEFORE I STARTED and I had zero lessons from anyone strictly self taught so maybe you don’t have to just be an amazing musician and only a half way decent singer & CO-song writer to make it in music these days this makes the odds of being successful at this point so much harder to do if someone with such minimal actual talent for music can be as big as this guy…
I see your point but in reality the most talented musicians get no recognition at all. It's all about who is more marketable and makes the most money. There's PLENTY singers who would make Aldean look fuckin stupid

They’re always stuck on the sidelines in the shadows of people like Jason Aldean or Riley green or shit artist like that… Tyler Childers deserves more if you ask me he’s a hell of a writer/singer and guitarist
Totally agree he really struggled playing it and in turn struggled vocally with timing. That’s why they have a band or session players for studio work.
