I literally just learned about creating podcasts this week in school. I am THRILLED at the ease of using NotebookLM, but found that the short 12-minute podcast it created told listeners there was an intermission. I want to be able to edit and remove that kind of unnecessary dialogue and DEFINITELY to change up the voices because I too immediately thought all of us would be using the same two NotebookLM voices, even though I really enjoy listening to them. I'd heard of Elevenlabs but did not understand the power of it until this video. THANK YOU, Bill! I can hardly wait to customize podcasts into my own voice. AND 100% YES...PLEASE TEACH ME how to make this into Affiliate Marketing and get paid while I sleep!!

Great tutorial. Can I just ask, how are you using such large files in the voice changer on eleven labs? I wanted to test this, and the file I used was nowhere near as large as yours, and I keep getting the error message "File exceeds the duration limit of 300 seconds."
Exactly what I looked for, I asked descript support how to mute one of the speaker voice and they can't point me to right direction. How to join your affiliate program?

What do you recommend for people experiences errors recurring in the podcasts generated, three and four podcast in a row? For example, the "wrap up", say goodbye, then suddenly the recording "jumps back to a previous chapter" and repeats what was already said minutes ago. Do we need the upgrade for that, or is there something that can be done to fix this in the free version?
If you upload your podcast as a source to a new notebook you will see a transcription of your podcast. I discovered it by accident. I am unsure if it's well known. If you click on the source after it uploads, it will open the transcript.
I found the original podcast audio had the two speaking over each other quite a lot and Descript mixed up identifying the voices a lot. So much so that I had to correct about 70 percent of the transcript. Also NotebookLM changed the voice of one of the speakers drastically mid podcast making it again hard to identify if it was even male or female. Very odd. I tried this with 2 podcasts and found Descript struggled to separate the voices correctly.
I love NoteBookLM, it's a game changer for me. It's easy and fast to create quality audio podcasts, I love it!! It's awesome!

Yeah. This would have been nice to know before the Descript part. Eleven labs only support 50mb or 3minutes of audio.
