I love that truck. I'd love to own one but, at $200k+, I don't love it that much.
My compliments to the restorer. Great job.👍👍
Thank goodness you are back with a new channel! I used to watch on TV Sunday mornings before I had a computer. I miss Tom's laugh and his comment you alluded to about if you "need a car like this" ..Haha Yes! Yes, you do! RIP Tom. His laugh and smile was infectious. Keep on keepin on guys, I'll keep watchin!
Great to see you on UA-cam Peter! Was with you on Speedvision back in the day... way to make me feel old! Gary your Dad is the best!
I NEED a truck like that.
The litlle boy in us all NEEDS that truck.
Faaaaantastic to see new videos from LMC ! Best of luck with the updated content! Looking forward to the next vids !
Very tastefully done, with this a need for a Jeep, a truck and a daily drive with loads of fun is complete.
Great Video! Really miss you guys on TV and the fantastic vehicles so glad to see the new content on the channel.
Thanks Chris! be sure to subscribe for weekly content!
Beautiful Classic. The paint job is great too.. Do I need one --. HELL YEAH!! 😎🤩👍👍👍
Didnt make power wagons in 43
Need to get Dynacorn to stamp out new metal for these. Roadstershop can make the chassis. Would not take long to populate the small parts catalog.
From a vintage Power Wagon, you made my day! Thanks.
History is always worth saving
Nice to see a video! Love this channel
More to come!
Awesome build. Love the color!
Absolutely beautiful work.its a real truck
I'm loving the nostalgia the Gran turismo 4 track is bringing... Good Vid!
Great job Gary.
For your info Power Wagons never came to be until 1946. Please educate yourselves and get it correct.
I WILL have myself one of these one day!!! I don't care that we don't have anywhere to get crazy four-wheeling with it here in Miami, these things (to me) are still the ultimate 4X4. I'd want a 4 door crew cab or even one of the old Carryall's that they have but the standard cab is still pretty dang sweet! You most definitely look like you had WAAYYY too much fun in this video!! LOL 😂😂😂
What an awesome truck.
Wicked cool truck that was ever made.
Love the Gran Turismo 4 menu music
Now that’s a nice ride!
Awesome beast of a truck !
Good video Gary! Imagine how upset Peter would be if you took out his Cobra.
Not pleased to say the least
Great great TRUCK MAN
It’s beautiful!
Awesome truck
Awesome truck.
LOL, the day when I hear "no one uses CDs anymore"....I'm so old LOL.
Awesome 😎👍
\o/ Hold on there whipper snapper. CDs may not be used in vehicles anymore but they're still extremely popular with 2 channel fine home audio systems. : D
Very true!!
Funny thing is, all this nice video and seamless editing and all some of us say is "hey leave our cds alone" lol
RIP Tom
Gary, I could not get past the moustache to comment about the truck, very disturbing...
That "tree" you pulled looked more like a branch!
It snapped right off! Our winch was strong enough for the tree but the tree wasn't strong enough for the winch.
That sure is one beautiful truck, amazingly restored-way better than it was originally new!
This is my dream truck! 😁
Love it! More field donuts lol
Should we incorporate field donuts into each episode?
Dude that's bad ass
That's for someone with something like a 10,000 acre piece of ground, so they can inspect the fence line in it.
Cool truck
Thanks
And have fun while doing it!
What's the best year for the old power wagon?
Miss you guys Good show
I WANT a truck like that !!!
Very nice build, would love to be able to buy it, but sure I can't afford it !
Wow 🤩
Anybody know what size tyres and rims are on this one?
Very cool! Wished you would have climbed something ☺️
You and me both!
NOW THATS A TRUCK!!!
oh ya!
These trucks are really very powerful
A stock one isn’t
Is this truck still for sale?
I absolutely love this truck and came close to buying one. Even called Winslow Bent who builds them. The thing is it doesn't have the modern frame and drivetrain to tow 10,000lbs which I needed for my Toy hauler. Bitchin truck no doubt but does NOT have the capability a modern H.D. RAM Power Wagon has. I ended up buying a 2015 Prospector Power Wagon. I use it to tow my R.V. in soft beach and dune sand.
Oh I would like this on a power wagon Wayne bus
I still use CDs. Hell I still listen to my vinyl too.
I don't think there was a vinyl option for this truck lol
the first power wagon was built in 1946 !!!!!!
I want one
holy shite ! 🤤
Hey guys I dont mean to burst you bubble but the Power Wagon didnt come out till 1946! How can YOU have a 43?
A lot of these trucks were built during the war and brought home afterwards, that's the case with this one!
@@legendarymotorcar Its a beautiful vehicle I am about 2/3s done with a frame off restoration of a 50 Power Wagon and this is my 3rd one. Maybe you missed my comment about the Power Wagon didnt go into production till after the war so its impossible that this would be a "bring back" Also the Power Wagon was NEVER a regulation military vehicle it was Never assigned and "M" designation by the military! My point is and I wont say anymore but your advertising is not correct if its a Power Wagon it cant be a 1943 vehicle and if it is a Power Wagon it cant possibly be a bring back since it was not built till at the earliest mid 46!
I am done now
@@karlk6860 you are absolutely correct.
@@legendarymotorcar Your answer is wrong. NO closed cab 4x4 with beds were made for the war. 1/2 ton WC 4x4's were mafe in 41 and 42 but the sheetmetal is different. Your customers probably won't care but please stop spreading false info.
How much are they? And can you find parts easily.
Between $350,000-700,000. No I m not kidding. You can do something similar for much less though.
Good work. I'd do 15 min to 25 minute videos
How much
Loved the old show love the truck sad to here about Tom hey what’s wrong with CDs better than seeing an good ol 8track
MOPOWER 5 STARS !
Didn't they only start making the civilian powerwagons in 1946 ?
Yes, came here to say this. Anything prior was typically a WC series.
I remember when my uncle bought one surplus in excellent shape for $500. They are really cool but no way worth that kind of money.
Took one of the most rugged, dependable combat/ work trucks and threw$100,000 at it to make it unaffordable status symbol for the limousine office snob set. Previous owner had a garage queen he got tired of?
It's a great vehicle, but going on say cross country on the interstate probably won't be happening with that diesel , I'm guessing 60 mph is really pushing it , the interstate is 70 , and more near 80 for me if I can get away with it .
Personally if I'm gonna be paying like a quarter mil I want some serious HP ,,,,,,, but that's just me .
Gran Turismo 4 music anyone?
Me gustaría tener un camión de estos
I love it. . . . Can I get one ? I am a farmer ... Love love it
I don't think they made that sheet metal until '46
I got one but not in running condition
Beautiful truck. Too bad it is out of my price range
It’s not a 1943 when you 90% 2020 new parts on it
I missed a chance to buy a 1948 this year. I could beat the shit out of myself.
When I was young I had a horse that could out climb any modern 4x4 💁♂️
I’ll buy it from you how much
Hi Rene, unfortunately this truck has been sold already. Feel free to check out our inventory page to see if anything currently on the sales floor piques your interest.

First off, no Power Wagons were produced until 1946--Second--it IS a modern truck, but with a 1946-68 skin
Short attention span and big wallet, damn I’d love to have one of those, that’s a real truck if there ever was one.
The first Power Wagons were built in 1946...not 43.
I have bought owned and driven their trucks...... excellent job but a little not worth the price... I bought the "napco" from this company and it was a very nice pickup but had so many problems I had to resell the truck and lost 70k.............. so it looks nice but...... good luck. Just build your own or forget about it.... complete nightmare
LMAO did this man child just ask if the CD player was period correct ? 200K insanely high. I got mine for 5K. Good video though.
Blah, title should be "Can this highly modified and nothing like the original power wagon (other than the body look) off road like a modern truck."
Fucked up classic drive one as original if i had this i would bring it back to original
It’s not a 1943
Well.....love them power wagons, but.....put a damn automatic, n modern motors.....diesel maybe. Not LS.
No it can't because its not a 1943 ;)
When you want a “classic” but you don’t want anything from the classic just the look 🤦
You took everything original out of that truck. The engines never died, don't need fancy suspension, keep it true to the period.
No some rich person with no idea what it is, or was meant to be has a toy....imo you ruined it.
im drueling
Power wagons started in 1946. Saying it's a 1943 over and over won't make it true.
Hmmmm…….are you sure it’s a 1943?
Lost interest when I saw the slushbox shifter 😢.
Thats NOT ma 1943 Dodge Power Wagon. PW never came to be until 1946. You better research your VIN Number. You people really need to educate yourselves. Nice truck tho !!
Yeah definitely not a '43. Might want to tighten up your shot group there on the veracity of your statement. I mean, if you get the year wrong in the title of the video...how accurate is the rest of the provided info? 1942-1945 was a dead zone for civilian cars. War production only- anybody into cars knows that.
I mean for fuck's sake its a restomod with modern seats, swapped axles with air lockers, an automatic transmission (for weak men) and a diesel engine.
"Can this Modern Truck With the Body of a '46 Power Wagon OFF-ROAD Like a Modern Truck?" Fixed the title for you. The floor seems to be made of floor.
terrible.
To answer the question fairly..
No, they do not wheel like a modern 4x4.
They wheel like a skidder.
