too many people hating on a car simply for being american.
Not exatly the Nürburgring - where once upon a time manufacturers were all going to see how they all measured up to one another.
Laguna Seca, Willow Springs, Circuit of The Americas, Hockenheimring... so far in 2024, a year of fast tech advancement, each manufacturer has handpicked a different track to go by themselves and set the "world record" at.
Kind of leaves a lot of us with apples and oranges to compare; not complaining tho I luv it =-)
I don’t believe the throttle telemetry, there is no way he was full throttle below 100mph multiple times and not spinning
Detuned maybe? For trackability.
@@RDJ1SS it must be
It’s all about the rev tuning.
Ever heard of traction control lol? Modern traction systems will do ignition cut and prevent the wheels from spinning
Don't believe it can't believe?
Hennessey needs to invite the Competition and have a fun weekend of racing. I would like to see what the Bugatti Bolide can do along with the Rimac Nevera, Koenigsegg brand, Aston Martin Valkerie and so on...that would be fun and hear the commentary BRING IT ON HENNESSEY show them what you are and how they all stack up.
Next. Breaking the 300mph barrier 👍👍
Bugatti already did that a few years back
@@ethan8532not on a production car
@@ethan8532false, the Chiron they used wasnt a production model, and was fully gutted so it weighed MUCH less. closest a production car has gotten is ~294.
@@ItsJustBIaze That 294mph car wasn't even a production car as well.
@@ItsJustBIaze they made 30 of them so it's a production car
I drove the Venom only in RealRacing3, but I fell in love with it instantly
Texas. ‘Murica.
👍🇺🇸💪🦅
For freedom!!
Congratulations. Very impressive.
I am a girl..but love cars. .. I was surprised that the speed was in the 30's at one turn.. I would never have thought.. Love it is Black... the lines.. the sound.. and the name behind this machine.. have been driving Vipers since 1997.. Thank you for showing the speed and the RPMS..job well done.. Smashing..just Smashing..
Almost 39 seconds slower than 2019 F1 pole lap. I know it’s an unfair comparison
I feel like he was going easy on some of those long swooping curves. Probably could have push a little harder and cut that time down more. That's how insane that car is.
Nordschleife oder nichts
I know this is insanely fast, but I just got done watching the video of the Ford GT Mark IV put down a 1:58.77 lap. I know, different cars, but still incredible.
Take it to the Nürburgring and after that do a celebration run on the Autobahn
This.-^
We did a number of One Laps, with some of you Hennessey's and Dubler, that was a lot of fun, but you guys have one hell of a machine there, sure would be fun to drag it around here doing track days all summer, I was just thinkin.
'production car'....
Hater
How is it not? It's fully homologated from what we know.
That thing is absolutely insane! And still probably has a few more seconds to cut off in the lap as well🔥🔥
Love to see drag races against other monsters like Bugatti, Koenigsegg or Rimac.
Dang that was quick. F1 last year was a 1:34.7 those cars are insane mode
Beautiful Mr Hennessey !
The noises that turbo make are just intoxicating!!!
Fun fact, MotoGP pole last year was: 2m01.892s set by Pecco Bagnaia
meanwhile my best lap time on a ZX10r is 2:38 haha
F1 record is close to 1m32.xxs
Nice! Alot of Jealousy...means you're killing it.
that brutal v8 engine sound is best i ever heard
Seems like the car handles it pretty well for a general purpose configuration. I also wonder if there's another half second or more left on the track.
Maybe it's just me, but for some reason this lap still seemed a bit reserved, though it got the job done.
An amazing sound from the Engine, especially amazing for a cross plan crankshaft ❤❤❤
Congrats, very impressive!
Wow! It sounds and accumulates speed like an LMP1 racer.
Incredible! I feel like with different tires and a better driver, it could easily do 2:04 range. Can't wait to see where the program goes! Keep it up!
Can you imagine what this thing could do on race tires?! Incredible.
Does anybody else wanna c the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution VS the SSC Tuatara Striker?
