Cool I add dagar Phool in my daal chawal and also boil the meat together with the lentil... nice to see a different way.. by the I always mention your pot looks shiny!!
Lol thanks its all about the shiny pots 😁. I also add that sometimes too! Yes there are few different ways to make the dhal. If you try it let me know how you get on 😀

Hi Anisa. I'm not too sure about the rice part. How long do I boil the water before adding in the pre soaked rice and Channa daal. Also, do I put the gas down straight after I add the rice or let it boil and for how long? And also, after how long do I summer the rice and again, how long for?
Anisa may I say i luv dhaal chawal Baruchi style its the best , your description while cooking is not clear because no accurate portion on whole spices and the timing how long to leave on simmer after each task , you need to be more accurate, and by the way that was not a spoon you used when making rice 😉

I always made with black lentils and beef and the ingredients same i do add khadu or carrots as well and taste so yummy.

Salma Begum bring water to the boil. Add the rice. Stir and leave on high until the water stars boiling. Reduce to low and cover for about 15 mins.
