"Should Duaffy watch Daredevil?" Yes, absolutely, as Netflix's Daredevil is some of the best Marvel content to ever be put into a show (I say some of, because Punisher S1 exists). Daredevil S1-3 and Defenders should absolutely be on your watch list (the rest of the Defenders shows: Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, are more negotiable...Jessica Jones S1 was damn good, S2 and 3 are good but not must-watch; Luke Cage S1 & 2 are both good but not must-watch; and Iron Fist S1 was decently good but very rushed production-wise, S2 was surprisingly good). Daredevil is well written, well acted, well choreographed and well directed. However, it still suffers from a "Netflix" budget. It IS a MUST see (Luke Cage and Jessica Jones were also good,) but it tends to suffer from the old low budget draw out and power tap down. React to it. You should get great feedback, but understand that "Matt's" "action" reentrance on Disney+ is going to be on another level. Hurry, because he's popping up in "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" as well. "Iron Fist" was a bust, however, I'd like to see the main character, "Danny Rand," writing checks and offering medical tech for the N.Y.C. "homie" heroes.
"but understand that "Matt's" "action" reentrance on Disney+ is going to be on another level." Almost certainly true. But most likely not in a good way, since all the writers and other behind the scenes staff has been completely replaced from the Netflix show. I wouldn't get my hopes up that it will live up to the original.
@@chriswhinery925 There were weak spots. I suspect they'll do what they've done with the original comics. Extract what works and add what's missing. Sustained and "healthy" "Matt" may be the norm as opposed to "let's constantly hamstring him and save some money." The powers that be are NOT going to want to play 2nd fiddle to Netflix and I suspect they'll use the opportunity to prove a point. Next... "The Uncanny X-Men."
I don't find that crazy in the least. Do you really think the Oscar Academy is full of comic book movie fans? Just because it hits us in the nostalgia feels doesn't mean it's best picture material.

Be warned, the emotions in the second one will hit you hard and make you think, "Oh! Now I get why he was so emotional in No Way Home!" Everything about this movie was amazing, and I recommend you watch it again with one of your UA-cam friends after you've seen the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies, you'll love and appreciate it even more.
It's magic. The whole point is that it doesn't _need_ to make sense. People don't remember Peter Parker, but they remember Spider-Man just fine, and it just works out, without any holes, because _magic._ 🤷♂
First He had Strange cast the FORGET PETER PARKER IS SPIDER-MAN SPELL. Then at the end he had Strange cast the FORGET PETER PARKER EVER EXISTED SPELL. So now people don't know who Spider-Man is because they don't know who Peter Parker is cause he doesn't exist. People still know Spider-Man exists but they don't know who he is. He essentially did get what he wanted, for everyone to forget who Spider-Man is... but he had to go one step further than before... by making everyone forget Peter Parker even existed on the planet.
The Netflix daredevil show is hands down the best marvel content there is. him having that cameo in this movie is one of my three favorite moments in this movie

21:42 They start up with the Christmas music VERY early in the U.S., Duaffy. As early as mid-to-late November. Some radio stations will even switch to playing all Christmas music right after Thanksgiving, or sometimes even before. It's been called "the Christmas creep" because Christmas starts creeping up on the populace, seemingly earlier and earlier each year. It's mostly because of how commercialized and monetized the holiday has become. The sooner that corporations can get people to start thinking about Christmas, the earlier they'll start shopping and spending more and more money on decorations and gifts.
These days many places start putting up Christmas products on the seasonal shelves as soon as they get rid of the Halloween stuff. Forget Thanksgiving!

Venom is a multiversal being, connected to every Venom in every universe including the Venom who bonded to Tobey's Spider-Man. That's how Venom knows about Spidey being Peter and wound up in the MCU.
When I saw this, I was so shocked that Dr. Strange would offer to use a reality-breaking spell so readily, without even discussing the parameters beforehand, I thought they would reveal that he wasn't really Dr. Strange, he was some shapeshifting villain. That was a seriously reckless decision on Dr. Strange's part.
"PETER 3!!" Because Andrew was sort of tossed away as Spiderman, everyone wanted Tobey (who it turns out is an absolute asshole in real life BTW, Molly's game confirms) and they never gave Garfield a chance. "No.. no.. You're AMAZING!" Great redemption
the whole thing with Ned not turning into a villain joke, that's a lil deep cut from the comics. cuz in the comics Ned is the Hob Goblin which is a spiderman Villian. and before watching this movie, you should have watched all the spiderman films and the venom films.

it's funny how they meshed the 3 of them together. Spider-Toby was the nerd, Spider-Andrew was the nice guy, and Spider-Tom was the fanboy. And then all the spider-memes, they got them all in one movie.
But they were all the nerd, nice guy, & fanboy, the movie explicitly shows how they share those traits despite being different. That’s why they relate so much to each other & it leads to memes

I think this magazine did a poll. The poll wanted to know which *character* should die off because at the time the comics sold well when characters died. I think "the death of Superman" doomsday???? It IS a MUST see (Luke Cage and Jessica Jones were also good,) but it tends to suffer from the old low budget draw out and power tap down. React to it. You should get great feedback, but understand that "Matt's" "action" reentrance on Disney+ is going to be on another level. Hurry, because he's popping up in "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" as well. "Iron Fist" was a bust, however, I'd like to see the main character, "Danny Rand," writing checks and offering medical tech for the N.Y.C. "homie" heroes.
"but understand that "Matt's" "action" reentrance on Disney+ is going to be on another level."
Almost certainly true.
It's so crazy how this movie wasn't nominated for Best Picture
I don't find that crazy in the least. Do you really think the Oscar Academy is full of comic book movie fans? Just because it hits us in the nostalgia feels doesn't mean it's best picture material.
@@marcw6875 okay now that's just bull crap not only did they have to keep their being in the movie an absolute Secret (which is really hard to do) but the three of them single-handedly saved going back to movie theaters.
Because the plot is terrible.
@@chandlermorgan708 Box office doesn't make the movie good. Remind you how much money Transformers, Force Awakens and Furious make?
@@chandlermorgan708 Box Office means nothing for Oscars, Transformers and F&F must have won many oscars then. The Story is good thats for sure but it‘s not great
Hey @Duaffy I'm so happy to see you watching Spider-Man No Way Home! It's a very special, powerful, amazing, and emotional Spider-Man movie out of all the Spider-Man movies you've seen. I'm glad you at least got the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy before this, you'll understand the references better when you see the Daredevil series and The Amazing Spider-Man duology with Andrew Garfield later. Be warned, the emotions in the second one will hit you hard and make you think, "Oh! Now I get why he was so emotional in No Way Home!"
Everything about this movie was amazing, and I recommend you watch it again with one of your UA-cam friends after you've seen the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies, you'll love and appreciate it even more.
He essentially did get what he wanted, for everyone to forget who Spider-Man is... but he had to go one step further than before... by making everyone forget Peter Parker even existed on the planet.
lol that's dumb
@CYB3R2K30 so this movie but hey, people still like it :v
@CYB3R2K30 No it isn't
@CYB3R2K30 No it isn't
The Netflix daredevil show is hands down the best marvel content there is. him having that cameo in this movie is one of my three favorite moments in this movie
36:48 This brings back a lot of memories especially hearing the nostalgia Danny Elfman Raimi Theme 😥🕷
Absolutely loved this movie, this will be so great
these are the original Spider-Man villains
LOL! Kudos to the editor. I expected to find a roasting in the comments for missed prerequisite material, but not from the editor!
It's all done in love of course. I still quick click when I spot the video's and am never disappointed.
Netflix Dare Devil is so worth it, so are Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Punisher. Iron Fist and Defenders are OK.
- I watched The Iron Fist, I actually thought it was pretty good, don't know why it got such bad reviews, I would have enjoyed more but apparently they decided from viewer reactions / reviews or whatever they cancelled any future seasons. Haven't seen any of the other ones though. Only Daredevil I know is the one with Ben Afleck from the main movie, kind of wish they had pulled him in for the MCU instead, I liked that movie as well, lol.
@@Arthaius Iron Fist it one of the top skilled Martial Artist in Marvel. the Iron Fist in the show was barely even a semi skilled pugilist.
@@stevenjohansen3827 - Well, yeah.. it barely had a chance to develop the show had barely got started before they cancelled it, which was a real shame as it was an excellent show and his abilities were top notch. Such a shame they cancelled as it was a really good show.
@@Arthaius The Netflix Dare Devil had Charlie Cox not Ben Afflack(Afflack's DD was awful) All the Netflix show got canceled cause Disney wanted to bring as much as they could home to Disney+(All 6 shows are streaming on Disney+ now). Iron Fist had 2 seasons just like all but DD who had 3. Iron fist had the Iron Fist ability he was supposed to have beaten a Dragon with Martial Arts to get that, yet he struggled fighting wet paper without the Iron Fist. The show was OK as I stated, but over all they messed up with that one.
@@stevenjohansen3827 - Yeah I'm still a die hard fan of the Original Daredevil (Ben Afleck) - I'm sure the other guy is good and all, but he is not the original. Of course, I also would like to see them use Wesley Snipes as the OG Blade seeing as he killed it in that role, anyone else will just be a disappointing pretender. Same goes for Ryan Reynolds playing the Green Lantern for DC, that movies was fantastic, they portrayed the whole Green Lantern Core and everything so well, I watch that movie like 3 - 4 times a year.
You should definitely watch the whole Defenders series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher)
Duaffy , in Spiderman 3 with Tobey , a black goopy alien symbiote attached to Peter's motorbike and then got on his suit, it was an alien symbiote creature , the same kind of creature on the bar at the end of this movie.
Oh no! Big mistake not watching all
The Spider-Man movies before this one. Let’s see how the big moments go with someone not having the background.
One of favorite moments, Garfield catching MJ, just isn't the same if you haven't seen the scene from his movie. I think it spawns from an internal heartbreak in which I let down the love of my life and wish l could redeem myself as he gets to. Ha.
Omg please watch both Daredevil and the Amazing Spider-Man movies!! The movies are decent but Daredevil is fantastic and since they just announced it is getting a new season in 2024 it's the perfect time to catch up
You should watch X-men series, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Amazing Spiderman too.
J.K Simmons and Willem Dafoe are always the wins! And the best casting in comic book movie history. And please react to Daredevil show. It’s the best Marvel show ever made and wasn’t even made or hold back by Disney.

I been watching Spider-Man for the past 20 years. Now Tobey Maguire Andrew Garfield & Tom Holland working together for the first time. Stan "The Man" Lee would be so proud of them.
@Joshua Campbell And steve ditko ?
Who?
@@joshuacampbell7493 Are you serious about not knowing Steve Ditko?
I don't know who that is.
I really love all the spiderman universe.
You are going to have to watch daredevil because he is getting a new Disney plus show and daredevil is a lawyer that's why he was defending spiderman, also ned in the comics is hobgoblin a spiderman villain.
Hes suite at the end is the original suite from the cartoon from the 90s and in comics if u noticed the red spider in hes back
21:42 They start up with the Christmas music VERY early in the U.S., Duaffy.
The GED is what gets me not only the people but also the machines and every record of him, and Wanda went crazy for her imaginary sons that are still alive, seriously.
When you think about it, he probably doesn't even have a social security number any more.
I was waiting for this one. I'll bet you loved it.
The way Peter talked about what hapoened to Harry was like hes redemtion didn't happen, like he died trying to kill Peter when truth is they temed up at the end and so he got redemtion, they redconed what happened to Harry
Venom is a multiversal being, connected to every Venom in every universe including the Venom who bonded to Tobey's Spider-Man. That's how Venom knows about Spidey being Peter and wound up in the MCU.
Toby's movie spider powers, I also thought it's common two, web flued gadgets, that was my first movie when I was a kid.
definitely worth reacting to Daredevil & Amazing Spiderman
Yeah, not true, but believe those rumors buddy.

It's probably too good a show for someone with her limited understanding!
"Everyone who knows and loves you, WE'D have no memory of you."
Wait…did Stephen just say he LOVES Peter? Awww. (Never caught that before.)
the whole thing with Ned not turning into a villain joke, that's a lil deep cut from the comics. cuz in the comics Ned is the Hob Goblin which is a spiderman Villian. and before watching this movie, you should have watched all the spiderman films and the venom films.
"I want Druaffy to respond to Daredevil, comment below." That's what I needed to say, right?
You really made a mistake by not watching the Amazing Spiderman movies as now you know a major spoiler
Love seeing all the spiderman actors together and Andrew definately acted the best emotionally out of all em I feel. So happy to see Daredevil cameo in this Matt is the best and you should for sure watch the Daredevil show to know more about his character he is amazing, green goblin was marvelous 10/10 Willem Defoe can do no wrong
React to Daredevil! :) It's a fantastic series. Plus, that character is going to be introduced into the wider MCU, so it's a must-watch anyway.
Yes, you should watch the Daredevil series. Especially since they are starting a new series soon which may, or may not, be connected.
I love your reaction videos . All Marvel and great was The Mandalorian when you know that the childs name is Grogu.
This is honestly my favorite spider man movie. Not just bc of the cameos but bc if the story
peter hits goblin - goblin laughs, peter portal hits thanos, thanos gets annoyed :o
I recommend you The Spiderman Trilogy of Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire.
YES DUAFFY! PLEASE watch and react to Daredevil seasons (and also Jessica Jones!)
Daredevil is the best Marvel project, watch it
It's funny because whenever my fiends see me, they squeal and come at me with their arms out and fingers wiggling, because I can crack their backs with a hug every time.
She should react to Daredevil but the one with Ben Affleck first to see a young Jon Favreau
I think it'd be so funny if they got THE original live action Spider-Man from 1977's THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN's Nicholas Hammond to cameo.😂
- If he is still alive, that would be cool, and if they could also find him still alive Christopher Reeves Father was the first Superman, if my memory is correct. That would be another excellent one to throw into the DC movies at some point. Christopher Reeve made a cameo on Smallville.

it's funny how they meshed the 3 of them together.
That’s why they relate so much to each other & it leads to memes
i am hereby commenting below to all intermissions :D

Wizard or Wizard: The Magazine of Comics, Entertainment and Pop Culture (previously titled Wizard: The Guide to Comics and Wizard: The Comics Magazine) was a magazine about comic books, published monthly in the United States by Wizard Entertainment from July 1991 to January 2011.[2] It included a price guide, as well as comic book, movie, anime, and collector news, interviews, and previews.
I think this magazine did a poll. The poll wanted to know which *character* should die off because at the time the comics sold well when characters died. I think "the death of Superman" doomsday???? I think it was called.. I think broke the records of most sales.
