Kane Kindratiuk haha very funny. Seriously though, alot of foreign people in england cannot speak a word of english, and stick to their own communities taking all of our taxes.
Well that may be true but not for the majority but I know what you mean. But we need to have English people who can speak properly as well and not have kids at a young age. So much needs to change in England and foreigners is just one of them among everything else.
I find it funny how you use "then" when you should have said "than." It is rather ironic to complain about these immigrants, but I won't disagree that there are many people who do not learn their host nation's native language. English is one of the most simplistic and specific languages, borrowing words from German, Latin, Greek and French, making it easy to learn for any person whose native language falls under the Indo-European tree. If you aren't just trolling or baiting, England has no hope.
The pepper you are looking for is paprika that comes in several varieties, the most common here in greece are the sweet one and the hot one. Gyros is pronounced "y-i-ros" and it comes from the greek world "γυριζω" ( y-i-rizo) that means turning around
Kripp living in greece for a short period of time "better learn the language so I can get by" Immigrants living their whole life in other countries "people better learn to interpret my language"
i am happy for u kripp u seem alot happier since u have been in greece. It must also because of the lady in ur life, when i found mine my life is better because of it. keep it up man
Kripp, gyros is actually the kind of meat that usually goes on pittas (really similar to Turkish doner). What you are eating is actually vegetarian pitta, or a veggie burger pitta.
I think Kripp could give up the pro gamer thing and just go around the world, get real life exp, and just report on the most mundane things and he would still make them sound awesome.
Gribb, my man, I live in Bulgaria and we have Gyro's here... because it's a neigbhour country ddddddduuuuh ... but I was AMAZED ... how many words we have in common! When u were saying the ingredients for your Gyro, it was almost like in Bulgarian ... Pita and Maruli is like 1 to 1 lol
As a Greek myself I can agree that someone can easily be a vegan in Greece. There are all kinds of vegan foods here mostly because of some religious traditions where people don't eat meat or milk/cheese for extended periods of time.
Μια Πίτα Γύρο! I am a subscriber for more than 2 years and i have been watching your videos! But with this one it was like Wtf! I am a greek and i never though that you would ever ever come to Greece! Your Greeks are good in order to eat a Pita :P Cheers bro Respect! p.s you mean tyrokafteri (the red pepper think!)
I've been in Greece 3-4 times, and I have to say.. I have missed out the Gyro thing, so I had to google it. Oh man.. What?! :) Anyways, your videos are making me hungry. And I need to watch what I eat :)
hahaha i was looking forward for the greek food video man! I knew you would like it greeks know how to eat xD Im glad your happy here bro!! And btw holy fuck krippy!! For not being Greek your pronounciation is very very good man !! As a Greek im proud of you! \m/
Let me repeat what every other Greek before me has said: Your Greek's damn fine, dude! If only you weren't vegan, I'd urge you to try Greek salad (and no, it's not a _proper_ Greek salad without feta or goat cheese). In other non-news, how awesome would it be if Greece had a gaming event like Dreamhack? Perhaps _then_ a bunch of us would get to meet you. (Lots of OJ cartons would get signed I imagine.)
Hello kripp and welcome to Athens , your pronunciation is extremely good for 3 months, and greek is not an easy language to learn. as for the giro, just call it souvlaki my friend. and it's not a real souvlaki without tzatziki hehe. and btw i have never seen that orange juice o.O but then again i' ve never seen a 6 link in poe so don't mind me xD feel free to ask me if you need anything , always glad to help fellow gamer's.
Can't say I'm taking his veganism very seriously, when the explanation is "health reasons" and then he goes and eats french fries. Then again, vegan junk food must be better than normal junk food, overall :P ... and props to him for having the willpower and discipline to pull it off. I always admire that in people.
Kripp is a vegan because he is a hippy, and he's a hippy because he's a vegan, it's a vicious cycle. As to which was first? Many philosiphers have tried to figure out this problem for a very long time, they codenamed the problem in question: "The chicken or the egg?" You can do some google searches on the subject.
:O When did Kripp moved to Greece and why? It would be such a surprise if i run on to you by chance in the street or the subway. Also, Kripp fast learner! really good Greek. Greek cuisine is pretty simple if u find a place tha cooks home food near you, you should try it out.
Dustin N Pretty sure he was referring to the second pronunciation that was said in the video, because i don't think anyone pronounces it Jy-row in any place but Canadaland
***** by "canadaland" you mean the English language right? Because the stabalising device is pronounced jy-row. Generally its Americans who tend to butcher English
***** It is pronounced Jy-row in English. I've never heard it pronounced any other way. The fact that it's different in Greek must be a matter of alphabet transcription or phonetic changes when being used by another language (like Latin which doesn't have the aspirated H and changed it to a G)
What a BUSINESS HOOK! 4:37 You think this happened? Probably not. But when that orange juice company sniffs wind of this video they'll catch that line. That's why Kripp didn't name the brand, or do a real plug. He didn't give them the full coverage a sponsorship would receive, just a tiny taste to get them hooked. They'll come to him. It'll seem organic and natural to them, but kripp pulled the ol' happy merchant wool over their eyes.
the best OJ simply is 100% pure / natual (better still: organic) squeezed OJ without anything added (e.g. sugar or even artificial flavourings). only thing better than that is pure freshly squeezed organic OJ
"Gia sas, 1 pita guro salata tomata patata hakuna matata"
hahahahahaha
Being greek this is the video I've enjoyed the most, hearing Kripparrian say all the ingredients of pita gyros....priceless.
Canadian person learning his host nation's native language. Something everyone should learn from.
Wow if every foreigner in England did this I would be so happy. 70% of immigrants cant speak more then 30 words of english (spoken terribly I may add)
MAU5 HOU5 Let us be honest here, a lot of English people can't speak English properly either.
Kane Kindratiuk haha very funny. Seriously though, alot of foreign people in england cannot speak a word of english, and stick to their own communities taking all of our taxes.

Χαιρετισμούς, Krip! Your pronounciation is almost perfect, really surprise!

So happy that your are staying in my country! And also seen you liking our food! Most of all knowing that your will learn the language. GG!
Man, that positive ending note always gets me smiling :-)
good shit kripp. Always making the most informational videos.
Kripparian creates a run on OJ in Greece. You sir are marketing gold.
I think Greek OJ will give Kripp the runs... But thats just my opinion...
Capt Mifune
and your opinion is based on what exactly?
Capt Mifune Touche
The pepper you are looking for is paprika that comes in several varieties, the most common here in greece are the sweet one and the hot one.
Gyros is pronounced "y-i-ros" and it comes from the greek world "γυριζω" ( y-i-rizo) that means turning around
Pretty impressed with your greek Kripp. Keep it up! most people don't pronounce greek words that well in such short time.
I expect his European descent helps things a lot. For most of us multilingual Europeans it's not that hard really.
the succubus' fangs are in too deep my friends. i fear we may have lost kripp forever....
I'm afraid we did..It's too late...It's always too late...
if we kill the succubus, does it release his soul?
Tier100
Yes! Get her!
A1rDev1l *lights torch and raises pitchfork*
Kripp living in greece for a short period of time "better learn the language so I can get by"

i am happy for u kripp u seem alot happier since u have been in greece.

Pita and Maruli is like 1 to 1 lol
my boy gribb
5dollorfootlong5 Natural typo. G is right by C side... -_-
Capt Mifune what about the double b
5dollorfootlong5 The double D comes later :3
Capt Mifune that would be fine....if it was a C but its a K! its Kripp not cripp

wow krip your greek is going excellent dude!
So why is Kripp in Greece? does he live there from now on?
I've been in Greece 3-4 times, and I have to say.. I have missed out the Gyro thing, so I had to google it. Oh man.. What?! :) Anyways, your videos are making me hungry. And I need to watch what I eat :)

I'm actually Greek myself and hearing you pronounce the word guros is pretty funny.you should try souvlaki as well this shit is freaking amazing.
Doesn't falafel basically come from Greece and the surrounding countries. I mean it originated in egypt which is like 200 miles from greece.
Let me repeat what every other Greek before me has said: Your Greek's damn fine, dude! If only you weren't vegan, I'd urge you to try Greek salad (and no, it's not a _proper_ Greek salad without feta or goat cheese).

i'm so glad i'm not vegan
Watching Kripps vids eventually will turn you into one. It worked for me.
Kripp you better be at Blizzcon this year! I need you to sign my OJ carton!!!
Kripp man you're gonna hate the summers there I can hardly stand 20°C here in Canada gosh forbid I have to walk in the sun and have my skin burn
I enjoyed that little story.
You must mean bookovo, which is red hot chilli pepper seeds and it rocks.
im from greece and i think that the best gyros is in thessaloniki not in athens
What are your favorite falafel places in Toronto?
Hey Kripp, why don't you go on Value Town anymore?
Hey kripp in what part of the city are you staying?
Have you visited the parthenon?
Your greek is good by the way Kripp. Most people have trouble pronouncing the language.
Indeed
Hello kripp and welcome to Athens , your pronunciation is extremely good for 3 months, and greek is not an easy language to learn.

He's vegan, so no gyros, no souvlaki, and no tzatziki. Tragic, I know :P
didn't know that, i am new in his channel. but yeah i respect his decision even if it's tragic xD
Can't say I'm taking his veganism very seriously, when the explanation is "health reasons" and then he goes and eats french fries. Then again, vegan junk food must be better than normal junk food, overall :P
... and props to him for having the willpower and discipline to pull it off. I always admire that in people.
The red pepper thing is called "paprika" :D
You're lucky to have a gyros place that has veggie paddy close-by that's pretty rare choice for Greeks
OJ and falafel sounds like a great basis for a my diet honestly. Tasty and nutritious...if only I could get organic OJ on the cheap. :(
Kripp is a vegan because he is a hippy, and he's a hippy because he's a vegan, it's a vicious cycle. As to which was first? Many philosiphers have tried to figure out this problem for a very long time, they codenamed the problem in question: "The chicken or the egg?" You can do some google searches on the subject.
Very nice greek mate :D Glad u like it here ^^
Kripp go out and eat some kokoretsi in a tavern and you will change your opinion about veggie diary man :) glad to have you here btw!
:O When did Kripp moved to Greece and why? It would be such a surprise if i run on to you by chance in the street or the subway.
Also, Kripp fast learner! really good Greek.
Greek cuisine is pretty simple if u find a place tha cooks home food near you, you should try it out.
Are Toronto Falafel's really that good? i've got work to do..
Kripp how is it in Greece, the troika aftermath, your 1st hand experience?

Just look to the photo behind of him.
André Rodrigues birds over a castle?
Kripparrian! Where exactly are you in Greece?
does he live there or does he stay there for a while?
Move to berlin we have great vegan food here!
u lie
Dick Pound no it is actually true.
"vegan" sausages
BTDiLmarinen Berlin is one of the hipster and hippie centers. Full of vegan stuff.
I couldnt do vegetarian in Germany. I love döners way too much. This is why I now have my residence here. :)
WTF? Kripp is really here? at Greece? :O
It's pronounced the same way everywhere. People just say it different because they are unaware that it is wrong.
I've lived in the United States for many years now. I have never once heard anyone pronounce gyro incorrectly.
The food is pronounced differently than the stabilizing device, so you are probably one of the people I am referring to.

Μενεις Αθηνα?u live in Greece for how long man? Didnt know that .happy to have u here
Glad u happy bro :D
Do Greeks still write in those math symbols or have they moved on?
Loooooove ur accent really loved it!
You should visit Turkey sometime. We're right next to you and the food is similar although we have a lot of different food!
as a greek i found this very entertaining
When you say "the gyros" I hear something very different.
When are you going back to Canada?
Good job your pronunciation was fine but i could't stop laughing :P
What a BUSINESS HOOK! 4:37
You think this happened? Probably not.

How does Greece not have Falafel?
Soulvaki (or pita gyros) is our national junk food. Btw nice accent :)
Greek OJ contains much less maple syrup than the Canadian alternative.
This is one of the best foods in Greece
2:30 it's called Boukovo xD
I hate meat, but not as much as I hate animals, that's why I eat so much meat, so I can support the cruelty to animals.
His new time schedule makes me want to cry, I can never watch him )=
Kripp. what is your main source of fats?
Subway got the nasty falafel subs when I worked there, but they smelled good so I tried em. Shit's good
