Mr.D.K.M Kartha Regarding Rabindranath's love for the Malhar ang you are perhaps not quite right. Most of Rabindranth's monsoon compositions are based on kedar, desh and even yaman. He did exploit ragas like nat-malhar ,gaud-malhar and miyan- Malhar , only occasionally,for monsoon compositions as well as for his devotional lyrics.
