Just amazing, both of you! Have you ever heard the song "My Kingdom" by Future Sound of London? They sample the vocal line from this in that song, it's actually what lead me to the Blade Runner film/soundtrack back in '94/'95 or so when I first heard of it. Definitely worth checking out!
Thanks for your comments! We going to see my daughter today in New York. You have a big advantage in being able to sing; I usually need to involve other people for that.
I see you are very knowledgeable about cameras. I struggle with the best settings for shooting videos like this. What F stop would you use? I used to use auto focus but now try to lock focus with manual to avoid the constant attempts of the camera to refocus. Thanks!
@@TaurusTarkus Funny, I just now saw this comment when this video reappeared in my feed. The f-stop can be tricky. Mainly it's about the depth of focus you want. If you prefer to have most of your shot in focus, you would want to make the aperture smaller, i.e. higher in settings like f5.6 and up. With that you would want plenty of light as well. Most cameras these days have very sensitive sensors, so they require less light than usual. But, if you're talking about your setup in this video where you're playing at your keyboards, it seems that you have sufficient light. So, maybe f4 or f5.6 would work. I would try some test shots just to be sure. It was great listening to this song again. You and Megan did a wonderful job at honoring Vangelis' original version. Thank you.

*Beautiful Voice* ❤
Thanks! I enjoyed your Vangelis in the Sky video and especially the beautiful videos from Hydra: where did they come from? There are pictures from there in my Greece video.
@@TaurusTarkus Thank you very much ! I live in Germany 🌎
A hour ago, I was booking a flight to Frankfurt! We are excited to be traveling to Germany for the first time in June.
@@TaurusTarkus I wish you a pleasant stay in Germany, we live near Stuttgart.
It's a wonderful country, and you are close to so many amazing cities. You are kind of central to our trip, which goes from Cologne to Baden-Baden, down into Switzerland, back up to Munich, and then on to Austria. We will have to return someday for Berlin, Hamburg, etc. Many of my ancestors were originally from Germany, but that goes way, way back.
Incredible.-
Many thanks!
Coolest video I've seen in a while! Nice work!
Thanks! It was a lot of fun, and I love the music.
Absolutely love it - well done both!! I play a bit of music with my 8 years old daughter - still a looong way to get even close to what you guys did, but I can relate to the feeling & experience...wish you many more music moments together!!
Thanks so much! These two videos with my daughter hold a special place for me, and I hope we can do more when she moves back to the States. Enjoy making music with your daughter while you have the time with her. Our time with our children really drops off when they move out.
Bravo!!!
Thanks!
Maravillosos bro! esto es superior , supremo, sublime!!! Gracias por este arte que se está perdiendo como lágrimas en la lluvia
¡Muchas gracias! Me alegra que hayas encontrado estos videos.
This was an amazing cover of one of my favourite composers you did it just right mate and your daughter sung it with perfection bravo !!!!!!!!!!
You earned a new sub today for this one alone I will be back to hear more well done.
Thank you very much indeed! It was really great to do a (second) cover with my daughter. She's living in Korea for a few more months, but then we'll have to try to do something else over the holidays.
@@TaurusTarkus Your work is wonderful mate really enjoyed your cover of this song.
I have always been a huge fan of Vangelis and I just did an ambient cover version of this song about 2 weeks ago its a wonderful piece of work by the master of synth movie scores himself
Thanks! I just listened to your cover, and it's great! I'm listening to another now.@@synthworxswx8709
Thank you so much my friend I love this theme always wanted to do a cover of it@@TaurusTarkus
Who did the vocals for you? Or were you able to use the original?
Bravissimi.
Grazie!
Omg, one of my all time favorite Vangelis tracks. You both nailed it!
I'm very happy to read this!
Muito bom ! Parabéns !
Obrigado!
Really nice
Thanks!
Just wonderful...also the choice of voice procession. Many thanks, what a pleasure! Kind regards from Germany, Andy ❤️ 🎹 🎹❤️
Thank you very much! Many of my ancestors were from Germany, and I'm hoping to travel there for the first time next year.
@@TaurusTarkus "Welcome!"👍👍🍻🍻😉
Great cover. Your cover of Memories of Green is also very good. Could you please consider making a cover of 'Wait for Me' from the blade runner soundtrack?
Thanks for the suggestion; I know that if you are asking, others would like to hear it too. I hadn't been thinking about that one. My struggle is the same as with Love Theme: the saxophone. I have a friend who is a very good sax player, but he's very busy. I have considered using an electric guitar for the lead in Love Theme, and perhaps that would work here as well? But I'd probably get some hate from some viewers for changing it!
Excellent!
Many thanks!
amazing work ! very well done!
Many thanks!
Great job
Many thanks for your comments!
Wow....
Amazing cover!
Many Thanks!
Very nice work, many thanks from France !
Merci! I hope to do a great deal more traveling in your beautiful country some day.
@@TaurusTarkus I hope so !
I love it!! Sounds superb on my Adam A7's
Thanks so much! I'm glad to hear about the Adam A7's. I mixed it with headphones and also on my EV ETX 12P's... and then later have had issues with my work computer and car stereo not being able to hand the bass. I'm hoping that's not an issue for others. You are a gifted musician. I love your Vangelis tribute!
