    Okay Miss Inspector Gadget.....I now am ordering the Lowery corner clamp as well as these scroll rods, the Halloween pattern you are currently stitching plus I already ordered 2 Carolyn Mannings!!! I am soooooo easily influenced!🤣 I just love watching your videos. Not really into the true crime but I still tune in for the beginnings of each one. Thank you so much for your channel and sharing your beautiful stitching! I just lost my mom to ovarian cancer and yesterday we closed on the sale of my childhood home. I am so thankful I can put on some of my faves on flosstube and escape my grief for awhile. Take care!

    I'm glad you like these frames. I have the round knobs with mine and they work the same s the knobs. My husband built me small table frame and I use the center holes on the sides to hold the frame in the frame. I'm using the same knobs you have for that. We got them from Lowe's..

    Thanks for showing this, Danielle. It's nice to know there are less expensive scroll frames available, and this looks like it would fit my Elan Lap Stand (Artisan Designs). Take care!

    I just ordered these, then I thought maybe I should check UA-cam before it ships to make sure it looks like I can handle it (I'm new to cross stitch & have pain issues), but this looks easy-peasy! Thanks for sharing, Danielle!

    Ok so I just set it up and I love it! I did get it from 1,2,3 cause I didn’t need it that bad.
    Now I have all these other systems sitting here lol

    These are a great concept. Pricy in the UK but the elbesee easy clip frame is a good alternative

    The wooden knobs were included with earlier models, but they also offered the black plastic knobs as an optional accessory. I think they only offer the black plastic knobs now. I actually prefer the black plastic knobs. I have dexterity issues in my hands and always had issues trying to get a good grip on the wooden knobs. It's not an issue with the black plastic ones since they have places to get a good grip on them.
    I have the regular side clamp on my Lowery stand. Do you think you would be able to roll and move the fabric up without removing it from the stand with the side clamp?

    • @Stitcherista
      @Stitcherista  2 роки тому

      No. I do not think I would be able to roll up the fabric without removing it from the clamp.

    i don’t have lowry but i do have the elan lap stand. Would these fit in the Elan? I do really large (HAED) so not sure rods long enough for these projects?

    • @Stitcherista

      I think they would fit in the elan. I don't know if the rods are long enough for a haed though.

    Eliminates the basting step to the dowel rod.

    I ordered the clamp frame today from Amazon. Did you special order the corner clamp for your Lowery stand ? It looks so much more comfortable on the corner. Thank you again for the video.

    • @Stitcherista

      I did order the corner clamp from the tinsmiths wife but they don't have it on their site any longer. I have the corner clamp linked in the description box at fire poppies where you can get on an email list for it when they get it back in stock.

    How is the tension? You said tight. I’ve been used to a hoop because I like the tension or like qsnaps are tight but would like a scroll and like the flexibility of sizes w/this scroll. Would you say the tension is equivalent? Not so much? Thanks in advance. As I bought a cheaper scroll and the tension wasn’t squat and I hated it glad it was cheap.

    • @Stitcherista
      @Stitcherista  Рік тому +1

      Yes, the tension is almost as tight as a q snap.

    • @sherylsizemore5143

      I wonder if tensioners on the sides may help pull more taught too? Clearly I light it pulled taut- like a drum (can you tell?) 🤪

    Do you have to have a corner clamp on the Lowery stand to use these scroll frames?

    • @Stitcherista
      @Stitcherista  Рік тому +1

      No, I think you could use them with the regular lowery clamp.

    Would you consider the fabric to be “drum tight” in either or both of these scroll rods?

    • @Stitcherista
      @Stitcherista  2 роки тому

      I think it is tighter with the handi clamp, although I feel if I played around with the Arabeska I could get it tighter.

    where would you put felt? before you clamp
    it?

    • @Stitcherista
      @Stitcherista  2 роки тому +1

      Yes. You would put the felt first in the clamp before putting the fabric in it.
