I make these candles too, and I always add a drop or two of Bergamot essential oil to my melted wax because the scent from the Earl Grey tea isn't very strong. Also, it's a good idea to melt your wax and coconut oil in a smaller bowl over a pot of simmering water, so that the oil and wax don't burn. You can also tear the tea bags open and empty the tea into a bowl with the melted coconut oil, and then you just strain the oil into another bowl and add the wax. That way you get more fragrance from the tea into your wax.
Absolutely love this video! I have been looking for an organic tea scented candle recipe for a while now and when I found this video I was sooooooo excited. Thank you so much for uploading this. I will definitely try this soon. Extremely excited! Again, thank you so much.
Scent will disappear and be non-existent when you burn it. Tea is not meant to scent candles. And essential oils don’t always work that great in candles. Save yourself the money people and get a proper candle making kit.

I've been using those Blue Pea Flower teas as a natural coloring for my candles.

Really cool idea and it seems that it is easy to make. Thanks for sharing 😊
Useing a duble boiler would help prevent burning the oil or tea bags.
Just wondering can't you just melt the wax and mix it with the tea bags instead of getting another oil?
Thank you for your teachings.
Cool idea!! Have too try it. Thanks
I’ve opened the tea bags and sprinkled on top 😆
Exactly what I thought lol
Love this. Trying to start a candle business from home but I don’t want to use the scented oils for aroma. Thanks!
thank you so much!!
Nice idea the tea
I got some coconut oil and it turns out to have strong coconut cent 😭😑. So I am gonna try with little amount of oil or can I use sunflower 🌻 oil ?
Good video but do we need tea and coconut oil fragrance together??
Refined coconut oil won't scent your candle, but will harden up with the wax. Don't use fragrance oil to steep your tea, it won't work the same!
How much oil, how much wax ratio?
Great video thanks so much ☺️ I was going to use sunflower oil but you reminded that I have coconut oil 😂
Wow,nice vidio
👍👍👍
tysm! i love it!great work!
