You are too good to us, Marta! I didn't expect to see a new video from you--pre-recorded or not!--for at least a week. I know UA-cam doesn't give maternity leave, so I'm watching your old vids trying to help keep your viewership up. I hope you are getting some sleep and that Hannah is bringing you all lots of joy!
Love this project and as I have been sewing since I was seven it’s fun to see the machine bits and bobs. Congrats to the three of you on Hannah’s arrival, and a massive big thank you for sharing a picture of your beautiful girls, it has given much joy to many, many people. Please also thank Lucas for me. Such a special time and to allow us to share it is a wonderful gift to give us.
Oh these are adorable! I have loads of little bits and pieces that I have collected over the years! I am going to give this a try! Thank you for the idea and inspiration! I hope everyone is settling in well with the new little one! Such a wonderful blessing! 💖
OMGoodness! Thank you! Now I know what I can do with all my little pieces of STUFF! and some Gesso! Congratulations as well on your new arrival. God bless.
Congratulations on the safe arrival of your newest family member, so happy for you xxx Love the tiny mixed media pieces. I prefer gesso it gives a better base. always lovely watching your process thanks for sharing.
I love your videos! I too was pleasantly surprised when I saw that you are taking time to do these videos! You have become my new "lunch" companion. I eat and watch you each day. I have learned so much! Thank you so much for these wonderful sessions! I watch you faithfully at night before bed too! I can't get enough! I have been practicing doing watercolors! it is very relaxing!
I love listening to you. Your spirit is so peaceful and dear. I wish I could be like you. Thank you for recording this. Very cool! God bless you and baby!
Such an interesting tag! Love that you use what I would throw out such as a broken clothespin! I hope you and the baby are well and life is beautiful for you
Great creations ! You inspire me ! At the first time the objects didn't talk to me. But when I see what you have made with them, I'm in admiration... Thanks you very much ! I prefer with the gesso because there is some thing different... I hope you much joy with your baby and your family !
This is the beauty of recording. You can keep this and your kids, especially Hannah can see herself in your tummy, hear how you were feeling or thoughts on pregnancy & the new coming baby! Even Emily - when she gets bigger & sees herself in your videos or your thoughts on her! Blessing!!!
Just simply beautiful! Thank you for doing comparison. I am using Gesso but often wondered if acrylic paint would work. I am with you, Gesso is the Winner! Thank you for giving us a video so soon after baby Hannah is here. Kiss her and Emily for us!
Thank you so much for thinking of us! You are amazing! Have fun with your new bundle of joy! She is precious just like her sister! I am going to try this one..love it being so small...cute, cute, cute, Hugs!
So wonderful use of sewing machine parts, my aunt always used the last all metal singer sewing machine and I inherited it. She had all of the different feet and lots of bobbins. I never could throw them out so I will try to use them creatively.
Beautiful! This is my kind of mixed media, I love to use found objects. I have used both acrylic paint and gesso and much prefer gesso. I find it seals better and gives a much nice finish. Congrats on the arrival of your new baby girl Hanna. She is beautiful! TFS =^..^=
Congratulations and many blessing to you and your family on the birth of the newest member Hannah..children are the hope of the future for all of us....
I liked your comparison project! I like the one with the Gesso! The colors stayed more colorful to me! Thank you for sharing! God bless! Love hugs and prayers! O:-)
Beautiful Marta, couldn't wait to get home to see this video. Was surprise to see you had made a new one so soon! Praying all is well you and beautiful little Hannah & family. TFS..
I paint on glass bottles with acrylics, but on slick surfaces, you have to be careful because the paint can/will chip off. However, if you do not plan on scratching the surface it will be fine as a decorative element. However, when you use gesso first on slick surfaces, then the paint will stick better as it has fine grit in it that grabs on to the surfaces and paint better.
Really cute pieces. I like the results from the gesso better too. And gesso is not expensive because a little goes a long way. Congratulations and best wishes to you and your lovely family.
Congrats to your family! Welcoming baby Hannah! Many blessings to you and your family! Great project! I'll try a mini something lol cuz I don't have the same stuff as yours. Take care hugs! 💜🤗
Absolutely beautiful tags huni. I am gonna try this i have invested in gesso whoop whoop. Finally been a while to get too. Glad to see and hear you huni amd congratulations again to your new addition Hannah Emily will make a great big sister. Xxx
How on Earth have you found time to upload videos with a new baby???? Thank you! I also just found out your Scottish friend Helen lives down the road from me - and I missed your workshops 😫

I did not notice a baby announcement in this video. Wherever some learned about it, I send you and Hannah special wishes!! Hannah has a great big sister to help you. Congrats to your entire family!!
So beautiful Tiny Art , love them completely !! I saw on acrylic piece colors were not blending well ,rather it was getting absorbed !! And after completion Gesso one looks more smoother and well blended , but on acrylic piece the smoothness is missing !! Don't know if I am too biased towards Gesso :D
First I want to congratulate you and you're family with the birth of Hannah. Then I want to thank you for again a great video, makes me want to ruin my new sewingmachine 🤣 I hope you enjoy this beautiful time for as long as you need, we will wait for you.

the acrylic has a smooth finish to it where the gesso had more of a textured finish. I think I like the gesso best.
