Just thought I'd clarify for you guys in case you didn't know that "dreamzens" (not dream-ctzens) are for people who've decided that they only like/stan/follow NCT Dream instead of the whole group NCT. Most fans of NCT just call themselves NCTzens (pronounced N-Citizens) because we love and support EVERYONE. Fan names for the individual units are not official, the official name is just nctzen. The NCT members themselves nicknamed the fandom "Czennies" or "Zennies" . I really hope you guys are open and willing to explore the group as a whole because all of them are hilarious and have really cute relationships with each other! And of course, the music is phenomenal.
Ah! Thank you so much for the clarification! We're actually pretty new to the whole NCT universe, so we had no idea so thank you for the explanation! And of course, we are so open to exploring NCT as a whole. In fact, Beth is very much in love with WayV. We do have other NCT family content on here, specifically related to NCT 127 and NCT DoJaeJung.
My beloved nephews!! I completely understand the desire to take Mark out to dinner. For the same reason I just want to feed all of them and make them go to bed at a reasonable hour....
I don't think you can get through idol training without being pretty driven and competitive at some level but the Dreamies are another level of competitive with each other plus they usually attach some penalty to losing, like having to do the dishes which ups the energy a LOT. It extends to their practices too, sometimes they make it so if one of them makes a mistake in choreo they have to buy the rest dinner. (Their dance practices are *insane*)
Because they are all so close in age (and they really don't treat Mark like he is the eldest) and have worked together since they were children, it means there is a unique energy to their interactions. I just love it

FYI since you both love MARK, let me introduce to you his FATHER named ZHONG CHENLE…

CHENLE (born in 2001) is the Father and MARK (born in 1999) is the son. Mark has a sister named DAEGAL (Chenle’s cute pet dog)

We're in this ride together. Buckle up because it's gonna be a fun ride!
the reason their dynamics are so different than other units are because
(1) they are more closer in age, with the youngest Jisung 2002 and oldest Mark 1999 making them only 3 years apart
(2) they have 4/7 members with the same age which are Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, and Jaemin (2000)
(3) pretty sure the 5 of them (the original SM Rookies Mark, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Jisung) ((Dreamies korean line *ethnically*)) spent most of their time together as they’re on the younger group age than other trainee members namely those in NCT127 and WayV. They’re dubbed as the 아기신기 (AgiShinki) aka baby TVXQ/DBSK. It was later Mark and Haechan (?) joined the NCT127 debut group training. Also the 5 of them joined the Micky Mouse Club together hence spending more time together. There are soooooo many cute and fun anecdotes showing how they grew up together but if i must share one, when all of them passed 160 cm (5’2) the staff treated them to a famous local franchise eatery for a celebration 😂 can you imagine how young they were when they met each other, literally childhood friends atp 🥹
(4) they have social butterfly, sunshine Zhong Chenle. Literally befriended a dating show contestant 10+ years older than him just because he really enjoyed the show so no surprise he has no problem settling in despite being added late to the team He (2001) doesn’t mind talking informally - being friends with Jisung (2002) early in their friendship. Debut era chenle is so precious, so pure pls 😂😭🫶🏻
(5) renjun acting as the glue in their friendship, suggesting friendship ring and even finding the design (it was cartier btw lol 4 years strong now but a few members has lost their rings multiple times so they kept repurchasing it cause they often do spot checks between them especially Renjun), talked to Mark to go for a retreat between the 7 of them before a comeback (even made treasure hunt out of his own pocket 😭😭😭😭 the members just went and enjoy), bought the members Christmas presents 🥹 he gave them customised hoodie last Christmas (2023). In my personal opinion, his fluentness in Korean and Korean culture really helped him to cross the barriers between them. Also helped Chenle a lot during early debut days which strengthen Renjun and Chenle bonds more.
(5) they shared one braincell in bullying mark (fondly)
(6) a bunch of yappers in one group, freaks matching each other freaks
(7) not sure since when but they’re a physical touch group for sure 😂 (its so funny whenever i remember mark used to hate people doing skinship with him 😂😂) hence they actually find each other cute and they embrace it??? like the cute aggression is so funny like girl, you’re not me moooove. for instance calling jeno samoyed and puppy like?!?!! the cute aggression for renjun during beatbox era!?!?
(8) literally ship each other for no reason they’re so annoying 😂😂😂😂😂
Just so you know the fandom name for NCT, NCT127, NCT Dream & WayV is all nctzen (N citizen), Weishennie is used for WayV as well

NCT’s fandom name is NCTzen (N-citizen). The member’s nickname that they call us by is Czennie (C-zennie). Each separate unit has their own fandom name, though it’s mainly used when you’re trying to specify which unit you stand (Whether you’re a solo unit stan or you’re trying to specify which is your favorite unit that you stan out of all of them) or if you have beef with another units fandom🤷🏻♀️ For the most part though we just call ourselves NCTzen. We also refer to the NCT members as “neos” or “the neos” . Also, I’m not sure if 127zen or Weishennies call their unit by a certain nickname (since I’m mainly a dreamzen) but Dreamzen call NCT Dream (The Dreamies or just dreamies or even 7Dream)
Fandom names:
NCT - NCTzen (Official) / Czennies (Official Nickname)
NCT 127 - 127zen (Unofficial/ Used by fans)
NCT Dream - Dreamzen (Unofficial/ used by fans)
WayV - Weishennies (Official)
