No one can buy nor sell anything because no one has available platinum, that's why the prices are dropping.
They fkd up the market for everyone. I rely on selling my normal gems to upgrade my lego gems and now it's just gonna take 2 times more time. Don't have alts so its going to be painful

My market is fine and I sell my gems for higher than normal price. I don’t lower my price to the bottom. I stay in the middle and wait for them to sell.
@@Abstrakt55 some of them have so much gems in their stash that can't be sold. So there's no point in buying orbs.
If we keep talking about this they will eventually listen. A global (even a 3 way split Western, Euro and Eastern) market is a must now.

I keep seeing you matts to upgrade your heliquary can I ask why you haven't used them? Or are you that high that you still need more to upgrade it? Just really curious for later I'm at lvl 41. So it's taking a couple resets to get enough to upgrade.
When I have lego gems to sell, before I list at a way low price, I first weigh out what I would actually get IF it even sells and compare it to what I feel Gem Power is valued at... which to me is ~1000 plat per Gem Power/fragment. If after Blizz "tax" on a sale equates to less than ~1000 GP for that gem, then I either just hang on to it in hopes of its value increasing in a relatively short time frame, or I just go ahead and use it for GP fodder to level up another gem I want to keep & use. As a low spender, my plat account isn't usually all that high at most times, but I am never desperate enough to sacrifice GP value for a tiny bit of plat.
That being said, Blizz should really change how much GP crush value there is between 2/5, 3/5, 4/5 and 5/5 gems. Since day 1, they all are 32 GP crush value... and that sucks. 32 for a 2/5 is fine, but the higher the * quality is, it should give more crush value... it would only be fair, especially with the higher the * quality is in regards to the % of it being dropped from a rift-run. Example that I think would be inline of being more fair... 2/5 = 32 GP, 3/5 = 48-52 GP, 4/5 = 68-72 GP, and 5/5 = 96-100 GP crush value. It's demoralizing after the initial rush of seeing that you actually obtained a 4/5 or 5/5 gem, but then realize that you don't need or can't use it, then realize it's bound, and then it is only worth 32 GP just like 2/5 gems.
Another note of point, I think it was either you or Misery who I first heard this idea from, but I also agree that a drop table ought to be implemented permanently when using orange or purple crests in a rift-run. The same concept as when Blizz introduces a new 5* that is in place for that new gem only, and for a short period of time, but now make it permanent & able to choose which 5* gem you want to better your odds on due to the fact that there are sooo many different 5* gems now that already have a low drop rate to begin with, but even lower % of getting what you actually want/need. And now there's already yet another 5* gem coming that will just make the already bad drop rate worse for other 5*'s.
I have a toon in high heavens server and one in iceburn tear, high heavens is always more expensive for gems and familiars, and iceburn tear always has more quantity of each, still cant afford to lvl up gems, and as soon as you find one and add it to your wishlist, they take it down, jack the price up and add it back to the market...i wonder why i even play sometimes
Blizzard/Netease should have a monthly special drops like they do when new gems are introduced that way we can get the BSJs or star fires that hardly ever drop nowadays. I think that would be a solution to the gem shortages in any server. Now I say the most popular gems.
When World of Warcraft made it's auction house global it had the twofold effect where reagents sold a lot quicker, the prices went down, but the net effect was you could make more gold selling reagents. I think if Diablo Immortal had a global market you'd end up with supply shortages because the number of spenders should be consistent across servers, and with having to buy the lowest priced items first the market would clear pretty quick.

Blood is at 64k at my server too. Since maybe a week other 5 Stars has one quite cheap sells for 30-40k from time to time
Im in eternal flames server and gems are fairly affordable as of now but people have to realize gem prizes are availability and you only get sellable gems from market so you have to spend money on crest to sell
So i been day one player so over the journey i learned it was allot easier to get the gems you need but i went the 5 out of 5 route
I don’t know what server you are all on. But my server nothing has changed. Secondary gems still go for 400 platinum except for the ruby which has always been dirt cheap. And legendary gems are always empty so the top legendary gems still sell for 64k platinum
Oceania market has been flooded with cheap gems from plat sellers
My thought...should be a standard on every server...limit how much the price can be adjusted from market price in either direction...not too low, and not too high either....
If Blizzard, does not urgently remove scammers who sell gems obtained through illegal means at a low price from this game, it will lead to the downfall of the game. I can't sell any of the gems I obtain from the crests I purchase with my own money because there are always scammers who sell for a cheaper price than I do..
Additionally, taxes need to be lowered..
On our EU server, almost all tourmalines are sold from 100 platinum. Legendary gems start at 30K. The last update completely destroyed the market. Before the update, I sold tourmaline gems for 400, and now I won't even sell them for 200 hundreds, because most of them sell them for 100.. If the goal was to destroy the market, they succeeded, we won't get to platinum like before.. and 300 platinum per day is ridiculous, you won't buy anything for it.
I could probably go 5 tomorrow if i wanted to but purple crest runs are uncertain but rewards wise i think id rather spend 50 dollars on crest than waste orbs in market
Prices are in the gutter on the blood rose server(eu). All sec gems are between 1-150, blue familiars are selling for 600 platinum, orange familiars 1600-2000 plat, haven't checked gems because I can't afford anyway, but the market feature is broken, started about a month ago, tempest update pushed it off the cliff
Topaz on Oceanic are super cheap, 125 plat for cheapest and next lot are 136ish.
Anybody who had two brain cells knew that the new market system favored whales and was going to hurt the average seller. The forced purchasing of the lowest priced gem first sucks. An example of this is the price of tourmalines dropped from 350 to 150 plat just since this forced pricing structure. Topaz and citrine prices dropped to 200.
Before this change, I used to put like 100 tourmalines on the market at 350 plat each. Every week or 2, a whale would come thru and buy them preferentially. Whales don't want to buy 1 normal gem at a time because they are buying hundreds and thousands at a time.
But now they can't get to my gems until they buy every low priced gem listed, one at a time. As a result, I have not been able to sell a ruby or tourmaline since the forced pricing changes. I used to routinely sell my red gems at much higher prices before the market change, and I've been doing this for a year. So it wasn't a one-off.
How is this new system better for me as a player who sells normal less desirable gems in bulk or a whale who doesn't want to be bothered with being nickel and dimed to death???
Moreover, Blizzard needs to adjust rubies and tourmaline affects so that they have some actual value again. Ruby's have been tanked since practically day one, and absolutely nobody really wants them. They are a joke when you get them. And we tease each other that they just got rubies. Total trash game component.
Finally stop crying for an universal market. It will only make the market worse. You'll never be able to pick up anything on the cheap because so many people will be competing for those cheapest gems, and whales will universally drive down the price of everyone's Market simultaneously instead of just certain markets being destroyed. This is exactly what just happened with normal gems. Now the whales completely control the price of normal gems.
Again, if Blizzard really wanted to do something about Susan Express, instead of punishing normal players, they would get Susan Express and all of these other shysters off of in-game world chat, which is where they do 99.99% of their advertising and business. But Blizzard is too lazy and stupid to come up with a spam-free world chat. Quality of life is the absolute Bargain Basement so far as blizzard giving it any attention. They simply don't.
So I guess I'm going to see how many rubies and tourmalines I will accumulate before Blizzard finally realizes this new system sucks. Probably tens of thousands.
I can use all gems by inlay and switch what my gems do but i still need the original gem socketed to upgrade levels !!
We are very inclusive as a server i would say not as competitive because most been here forever fighting each other we all know each other and get along mostly lol

Stay low use inlay and if you get a market cheap gem you can upgrade cheap inlay it buy smart in market
in my server all gem is around 100 sapphire are 200 :3 it`s so hard to sell gems no stable income of platinum except daily which is not even enough to buy something in the market 300 plat per day :3
Im proud of how our server functions we are all in discord all top clans switch after letting everyone get cloaked but then it gets competitive again
5 out of 5 star gem gives you 100 res per upgraded gem 4 and 3 out of 5 only 75 and its the same amount of gems needed to upgrade
Guess its my philosophy behind doing it the way i do i took a break from game for about 3 months in-between but i think besides helliquary and dust i didn't miss much was able to get back not to the top but im still elite on my server shout out to everyone who will join eternal crown servers after this my in game is Aerogs we are immortal as of now but our server switches as part of an agreement with whaes to lt everyone on server get a chanc😂 to be immortal once at least
Give players 2k plat a day for playing and getting that 120 daily points. No one has plat and if no one has plat then market will be dead. Simple economics. I don't doubt that blizzard wants to kill the game if people aren't spending anymore.

Diluting the 5 star pool only makes gems harder to get im not a fan off constantly Diluting the pool without giving better drop rates especially if you are invested past a level 5 gem

When things are really cheap, platinum is a better deal than orbs. People need to think more.

I said this one day one, the new Market Place system is trash. Actually i said it before the patch went l I've. Part of the fun in this game is getting a decent ROI. (Either buying orbs or grinding for gems and pet creation.) We can't get that now that the game is forcing everyone to undercut one another. Susan has officially conquered the DI markets. She won.

That is how capitalism works - at the end of the day the buyer decides what a gem is worth, not the seller. Prices move up & down over time; if the price is too low for your taste, just sit on it for a while. I have seen even Zwensons go up in value for a couple of months. Fortunately (for me), it didn't last.
I paid 80k for my 4*/5 Zwensons (I'm almost to Rank 8) last week. And that was what made me spend money in the game. I had 65k in platinum, and it was worth it to me to spend $25 to get the Zwensons. A rank 8 4/5 Zwensons is great in PvE, and I slot a dormant Phoenix ashes in it for PvP.

By crippling the market they capped new comers progression. Why bother buying orb if they can’t sell it to buy gem they need? And for dolphin & whale, its making them even harder to progress. Let see blizz, more ppl will leave this game by this decision.
And one thing that really blown my mind, even they capped 100 leg salvage for pity essence. LOL…. It make sense if they want to cap rank progression, but they capped skill that really important for build and enjoyment to play? ABSURB!

Why? The whales have whaled out and made blizzard rich . Why should the rest of us follow suit?
A 5star quality 2 bond gem can be made with 40 telluric pearls. One pearl can be bought with 800 hilts . Hilts and platinum have a 1:1 ratio (1600hilts / platinum buys a legendary crest). It takes 40 pearls to make a 5 star quality 2 gem. So 800 hilts times 40 pearl (800*40) equals 32000 hilts/ platinum. Now of the two, platinum is the only that can be bought with real world currency at a $1:600 platinum ,and can buy other gems with no limits.Okay, 320000 hilts is equal to 53.33 dollars ( 320000/600) for your choice of a bond 5 star quality 2 gem.
A 5star quality 2 will give you a max of 700 resonance , RESONANCE (RES equals to 1/.05% stat increase).Comparatively a 5star quality 5 has a max of 1000 RES.
1000res/700res= 1.43 (43%)more POWER
Now go back to a $53.33 quality 2 versus a quality 5 which cost $1066.67 (640000/600), and only gives you a 43% increase. 1066.66/53.33 doesn’t equal 1000/700. If anything a 43% increase should cost 75-100 dollars top, or 1066.66/53.33 should get you 20 times resonance/power. I know that you’re paying to increase your power sooner than later ,but only a43% increase in power when the price should 1.43*53.33= $76.20. Tell me how blizzard justifies this. I know there rare! Yeah,20 times the price but only 43% of value type of rarity.
P.s blizzard sell you a choice of a Any quality 2 for $100. blizzard set the price not us. So a 5star quality 5 (43% increase) should be $143 , or $150 tops .

For anyone with access to 4 devices, simply making 3 accounts to just follow your main around when doing Hidden lairs was an amazing way to farm gems then pass them off to your primary account via the market. Blizzard took their 15% blood money and players were happy. After a while, your 3 alt accounts saved up a lot of platinum. You quickly transfer that back to your main with a max price 3star gem sale or something and blizzard again takes their cut, before you get your plat.
i report ppl like you. you manipulate the market for your own gains. any time i see a player at the market, in darkwood, bilefen, or ashwold, with gear that doesnt reflect their lvl (and youre easy to spot). i will always report them. play the game honestly.

People be hoarded on plat and whales just easily snipes legit all cheap gems just by sitting patiently because there always someone appear who decrease, then next one decrease and circle keep going.
Now there were couple days interesting sales of x/5 stars at rate of 30-60k (even 4star popular gems incl) and now people just sit waiting for another load of cheap stuff.
Each star of gem no matter what type should have minimal standard value and maximum value.
62k for 2* void and 73k for 3* void.. thats an legit Rtardation. It's still the same reso difference from each star. I don't understand why 3* should be price of 2* and then you suddenly 3-5x increase price for 4*. (yes you pay for the percentual drop chance, but the 3* isn't also light drop rate either)
All gems are (not) selling for 100 platinum. Before the blue ones were like 400 platinum.
And... about having a global market... No way Blizzard will give up the server transfer taxes from people who travel all around the world looking for gems.
This new buying rules forced F2P players to sell their gems really cheap and makes the real spenders very happy. Who used to run alt accounts to survive against the P2W are now quiting the game.

Most players are F2P running alt accounts. Now the platinum is gone. Nobody has "money" to buy gems for 400 platinum anymore.
