- Based on Joe Hills short story, The Black Phone was a great movie! THe Grabber, played by Ethan Hawke, dons a mask that isn't really there to hide his face but really to enhance it. Each of the different bottom plates add to the characters sinister ways.

Great video! The mask is sick… but that paint job 🤮 none of the pieces match the top piece and they are all SUPER dark. In the movie the mask was like an off white and gray, this just looks brown and black. Kinda disappointed in TOT Studios
after looking over the pictures I see some things about it that I don't LOVE. Someone in a facebook group I'm in shared one he got from amazon that I thought was the TOTs version. definitely seemed more of the off white color. I love the concept of this mask and I'm still happy with it but....there are some things that after a second look kinda of jump out at me as "I wish that were different"

@@JOSHSHORRDERCORNERcan you tell us which one he got off Amazon?? The hing about the TOTS mask that annoys me the most is the hollow horns. It just makes the mask look incomplete from the sides.. Full, rounded horns would've been so much better!!
