There is a correction here... we have to connect the negative terminal of galvanometer to the jockey not the positive..

That is because we usually connect the unknown resistance across the right gap of metre bridge. In this video they took it in left gap.

A correction here....the resistance box shld be in the left gap and the unknown R wire in the right gap..

we always connect the unknown resistance in the +ve gap and +ve gap is that gap which is connected to the + ve terminal of the battery

the circuit diagram shows -ve terminal cnnected to jockey... and + ve terminal to point D... while the demonstration shows that - ve is to be connected to point D and + ve to the jockey... there is some mistake.. please rectify it.. :)
