Candace, my sister-in-law (Craddock) was working in athlete eligibility when Coach Summit graciously invited me and my wife to observe practice your senior year at Tennessee. When she opened the gym door and we walked in you were the first player I saw. I had a verbal reaction similar to “whoa”. Coach said, “Yeah she’s pretty great.” But the look in her eye and the smile on her face told the story - she was bursting with pride. Many of us have had this experience watching you play. For me, and mine you are the cornerstone of Women’s Basketball. And a true icon to many of us who share your family values. Thank you for being genuinely you, and being a sensation on the court, and providing leadership to these young players. All the best.

Major pressure. I feel a sense of that emotion when I speak to friends and family over how I'm not interested in a career as a rapper anymore. Some of my more popular cousins often tell me that there is a "Lane" for me in following through the same system as many Detroit rappers like Vezzo, Payroll or 42 Dugg. Touring south towards Georgia through to Florida with labels such as CTE or Young Money CMB but the truth is my preference is on playing tennis or learning to fly a plane. This voice in the back of my mind tells me that the finance is more easily accessible if I pursue the hip-hop career but this isn't about money. It's community. It's legacy and foundation for the future. I believed that fashion and design could assist me in getting into the environment. Helping me to meet the people who could help me shift from a rough gem into a polished emerald. Yet things change, time creates opportunities and we as humankind act on them. Wherever the universe of compassion directs me, I just have to trust Christ and follow through. I have many talents but I am not yet an Industry Professional. And I am humble enough to recognize how to be attentive to those above me yet confident in myself enough to realize that I can be the best to ever do it.
