This is one of my very favorite dramas of all times. Great acting by the actors . Great story and the single mom and doctor make the story the best around. It has everything in it. How to deal with the bad lots that get thrown your way, how to stay strong and stick to your beliefs, and how to appreciate the small things in life. Most importantly, how to trust again not to give up on love.

A very motivating story. An inspirational movie. The last part where Hans Xiangdong shares his childhood experiences and Jiang Tianlan listening attentively was really touching. To have someone listen to you with an open mind and non judgementally is a great blessing. While watching this I was taken down the memory lanes of my own life. Great Movie. It is worth spending two hours watching this.

After the daughter saw her dad with his new family it felt liked it skipped through some important parts. That's just how I felt watching it. The important parts would have been the glue to understand where the got to in the end. Oh and the husband stealing lady asking the ex-wife to be a bridesmaid was just stupid.

I love the drama but there seem to be parts missing. The drastic change of scenes without knowing how they got from point A to B. It's frustrating. For example, he proposed to her, we never saw her accepting and all of a sudden, the next scene he is talking calmly with her ex-husband about her being his girlfriend. How in the world did that happen? Did I miss something??
It’s a drama series condensed to 2+ hour movie, so I guess it has been chopped around to fit that time frame. It’s ok if you don’t want to watch full length episodes but you do miss a heap of stuff, right? Maybe watch the series instead?😊

One of the strangest things about Chinese movies is that with 1.5 Billion people, there's never anyone around. She's walking all by herself lol They go in hospitals and nobody in the corridor. Even though we know the hospitals are packed with people.. They need to get more real~!!
