It’s 3M 2080 film in Brushed Black Metallic. I wanted to keep the industrial look and feel of the factory stainless steel but give it a custom look. I’m glad you like it and thanks for the watch!
Hey Butter, can you give me the honest assessment of finger prints on the wrap? Is it still noticeable at all? Extremely reduced? Or only improved by 50%? Thanks man ❤
Hey man 👋🏼 my wrap does show fingerprints especially where I grab the door to open and close it. It's much better at hiding them than the stainless steel but tbh I'll be getting a PPF for my next wrap
It’s held up really well. It does have some scuffs and scratches but nothing major. I do wish that this color was available in PPF as that would last so much longer. Overall I’m very happy with my wrap. Hope that helps
This wrap looks awesome and is probably one of the better ones I have seen out there. I live in the SoCal area as well and would definitely like to get something similar done from MTS on my future CT. Do you mind sharing how much it cost just for the wrap?
Congrats on your CyberTruck! So Mikes Tint Shop gave me a good deal as we collaborated on content together. But they told me that they would charge around $7400 for everything that I did. Here’s a rough breakdown of what everything should cost depending on shop. Wrap - $4500-6000 Tint - $400-600 Windshield tint - $800-1200 These are based on what shops quoted me prior to going with MTS. Hope that helps
Hello and thanks for the watch and questions. What do you mean by what panels did they remove? Also I chose vinyl because of the limitations in colors in PPF
@@Butter_EV in order to ensure the vinyl termination points are fully hidden, you need to remove certain seals and panels….sounds like they didn’t know how to do this unfortunately….
How much did you pay for this? A shop here said $4500 which seems high since it's not PPF. I will pay for it if that's what they actually are going for though. Awesome wrap
Man that 3m warranty would concern me. They obviously don't have much confidence in that product to give it such a limited (or if any) warranty. "as long as you keep it indoors".. lol what? I assume he meant keep it garaged 90% of the time it's parked. The Cybertruck prob won't even fit in most home garages though. So basically hand wash only. I'm confused as to why he says you shouldn't have to worry about swirls. I guess the concern is that a drive thru wash will damage the vinyl in worse ways than just swirls. So if you don't own a pressure washer and have time and patience, expect to add at least $300 to $400 per month to have a detailer wash the truck often enough to take care of the vinyl. Just seems like a pain, but so is stainless steel
You are correct he meant keep it garaged as much as possible when not driving it. Essentially don’t leave it baking in the sun. As far as washing it. Yes hand wash is the best way to clean the truck while wrapped. What I’ve been doing is having someone detail it and then I maintain it with waterless wash. I keep a bottle in the truck at all times and a few microfiber towels and whenever it gets dirtier than I like I give it a quick wipe down and it cleans up really nice
Nice! Really digging that color. Seems worth the hassle to achieve that look then, while also avoiding fingerprints and corrosion. if it's anything like my stainless steel appliances, I'd imagine the vinyl is waaay easier to clean
Exactly 💯. So after taking delivery of my CT I quickly noticed all of the fingerprints and dirt on the stainless still that I decided that it would be best to get it wrapped. The vinyl is so much easier to maintain and keep the truck looking its best. I highly recommend getting it wrapped
What material is the “corrosion” on? Stainless steel metal? Your truck will be turning heads everywhere you go! My car would look like a turd bucket next to yours.
So it looks like there are water stains which had some corrosive properties in it drip down onto the plastics piece underneath the doors. Truck is definitely an attention grabber
Wow, it looks awesome! Great choice! Awesome video! 👍👍👍
Thank you. I appreciate the kind words 😄
I said the exact same thing about it looking like a stealth bomber. Very cool!
I’m extremely happy with it. Thanks for the watch!
I love that you included common sense questions and answers…really helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Looks awesome. Probably what I will be doing with mine
Thanks, I’m very happy with it. I appreciate your support
I’m binge watching all your episodes!!!!
I appreciate that. Hope you’re enjoying them 🙏🏼
The car looks awesome great video🔥
🙏🏼
Out of all the wraps, I think this is definitely the best looking one. Highly considering getting my cybertruck wrapped just like this once I get it!
I appreciate the kind words and you watching the video! I really love my wrap and would highly recommend it
Good people at MTS definitely recommend
Bro. That looks frickin awesome!!
Thanks 😁
Can you please add the details of exactly what 3M wrap that was? 5:50 it impressively looks like the stainless from that angle.

@@Butter_EV Thanks for sharing. Not sure if you can edit the youtube description but it may be helpful for others to put that there. Cheers.
Great idea. I’ll edit it now. Thanks
I think brushed metallic black and camo are the best looks for this machine. Can you ceramic this?
Yes you can
Beautiful wrap Dude...looks awesome.
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words and support

looks good my man
Thank you
It looks like brushed tungsten. Very classy looking
Brushed Black Metallic 😊
I love your videos bro
Thank you, really means a lot 🙏🏼
Sick!
Thanks 😊
Hey, looks great! How has it help up? I’m thinking about getting the same wrap.
It’s held up really well. It does have some scuffs and scratches but nothing major. I do wish that this color was available in PPF as that would last so much longer. Overall I’m very happy with my wrap. Hope that helps
Appreciate it bro!
What percentage is your tint? Did you tint the roof glass as well?
15% all around and 30% on the windshield. I did not tint the roof as the tint allows 0% UV rays. Tint guy says he’s never seen tint that good
Am wrapping my cybertruck same as your I like it to much couldn’t pick anything else 😂
You won’t regret it

I absolutely love my wrap. You should expect to pay $2500-$6000 for a wrap, depending on what brand and type
@@Butter_EV Thanks man 🙏🏽!
Great video. I found you through your interview with TFL Truck. Subscribing to your channel now!
Thanks for subscribing
Excellent color choice !! Make some reaction videos.
Thanks. I really should, everywhere I go people love it
I like the black stainless steel wrap 👍
Thanks
So what was that wrap color called?
3M 2080 in Brushed Black Metallic
Can you tell what it cost for the tint and wrap, mine is coming in a week and I don't want to get taking advantage of?
Congrats on your CyberTruck!

@@Butter_EVsuper-helpful…did you shop around at all?
2 questions: what panels did they have to remove for the wrap? & why didn’t you go with a color PPF instead given they last so much longer than vinyl?

They did remove some trim pieces but they didn't remove any of the stainless panels@@Freakyguy666

I’ve seen shops offer vinyl wraps for $2500-3000. Definitely shop it around but also be mindful of their quality as I’ve seen some shoddy jobs
@@Butter_EV Is the vinyl still holding up well? I'm told the sun might wash vinyl and has no UV protection
How’s it holding up?
It has some scratches and scuffs but for almost 15k miles I think it’s held up really well
Did they do anything about the scratches before wrapping it?
No, Tesla noted the scratches and is supposed to replace once panels are available
@@Butter_EV Did they show through the wrap?
it looks so ridiculous next to other cars on the highway, makes them feel like they are from a past century
Yes, it took me a few days to realize that its actually a real truck 🤣
How much of the cost did they cover?
They gave me a good discount 😉
@@Butter_EV nice!! I'm trying to find a deal like that lol
