If someone says “I looked it up on ebay” I’m out instantly. More than likely they are looking at just listings and not solds, so they are probably getting an inflated number.
Just a heads up those drums have the silencers on them that are selling for around $45-55 alone and probably won't add anything to selling them as a whole so you can take those off and maximize your profit.

To go along with your negotiation. Sometimes a reseller would set a item at a higher price but when someone wants to haggle the price down, it's usually at a price that the reseller would have wanted in the first place. If that makes sense.

just this weekend some guy was selling an xbox one bundle with some games, a controller, and a chatpad at a yardsale he had it at 175 which was already a pretty decent deal for anyone that actually wanted an xbox one obviously i wanted it to resell it so i thought about it went back to my car looked it up a bit more and once i saw that the chatpad itself was selling for around 70 on ebay i knew i had to go back and try to negotiate it down a bit to make some decent profit i went back and asked the guy would he go any lower on 175 he said yes and i told him 100 knowing that was a pretty low offer for what he had he came back with 150 and i told him 120 and he accepted it within an hour of putting it up on ebay it sold for 200 plus 20 something for shipping which will only be about 50-60 bucks profit after fees but i also have the chatpad still which will bring in another 60 so turning 120 into about 120 in profit on a quick turnaround not too bad for a beginner

I get that sometimes people look up asking rather than ebay solds but random store prices that are insanely high seems odd. They probably never paid those prices when they purchased new. Personally I wouldn't have bought all the rock band stuff, would have left it sitting there. May have even shown sold prices on the lego to make a point.
Most people like this tend to not agree with your pricing, as they think your gonna screw them over. Which can probably be true. Why does it matter what they paid new? Its all about market value. Why do you think Nintendo Switch games hardly drop in value? Plus Caleb is out there trying to make a buck like they're.
@@iNICK20 That's true, some items can go up in value, that's fair enough. But Caleb literally put up the current price of the lego which was way cheaper than the asking, so it hadn't gone up in value.
