Send some products to project farm to test out. And when is canada gonna get these products the amazon pricing is ridiculous. Really excited for your lineup
I am getting new car on Wednesday. Am I able to apply this without too much cure time? I don’t have a garage and live in Canada. I have to dry my vehicle daily. Will it be okay or am I better of using tough as shell?
I’ve been using CarPro Kort 3.0 the last few times. But you have to remove it after 30 to 60 seconds which is a pain in the butt. this coding like you said you could do half of the car and then come back and wipe i off. like that much betterfor your presentation
Comments keep disappearing... Gotta love YT... Just ordered a new truck. (6m wait). Experiencing detailing information overload, but I keep coming back to your videos. The 30-second flash off coatings are too fast for this beginner. I'll give your products a go, once my truck comes in, then send you feedback on how they perform in the High Desert of SoCal...
Great! I’m in so cal too. I apply my coating to one while side of the car before I go back and start leveling. So you have plenty of work time. No 30 seconds around here.
So first I should use “The Pure Magic Cleaner”, to prep and clean the car. Then use “The Gloss Boss” for the ceramic coating? Any discounts if you purchase them both?
@@autodetailingpodcast Thanks for the UA-cam response as well as email... Just placed order for two Gloss Boss.... One for my land cruiser and one for my sons Supra.

Am I too understanding using Gloss Boss will stand up to the bug cleaner and make it easier to clean, that Tesla front end is a total bug magnet and hard to keep looking nice
What have you found to be the optimum time for the coating to flash before you wipe it off. I'm sure HB will have the same dwell time. Because of the high solids in the Gloss Boss how long did your blender say you have to use the remaining coating in the bottle before it becomes unusable? How much cure time would you recommend after the initial application and wipe off before you can wash the car? What about window application? Lastly what are your expectations for longevity of the coating based on a regular maintenance wash plus an extra topper of Tough as Shell on an as needed basis? Also, would using Pure Magic Cleaner do much damage to the coating when used to remove water spots and IFO?
Lots of good questions here. I think right around 5 min is optimal. I’ve had an open bottle for almost a year without any issues as long as you wipe around the rim of the bottle after your finished. If not it starts to harden around the rim. Works great on all surfaces including windows. With tough as shell as a topper this coating will last 5 years+ without any issues. Most car people will top their cars regularly, I don’t know anyone who would apply a coating and leave it. Pure magic cleaner is a great product for winter time to clogged up coatings and I recommend using it if you feel the coating is getting clogged up.
@@autodetailingpodcastan open bottle will really last up to a year? Do you recommend throwing it the fridge like gtechnique does? Since we can get multiple cars it would be nice not have to throw it away in 7 days or a few months like other companies
I found you due to your torture tests on coatings, if your claiming this is the best, let's see the torture test, and how does it compare to Meguiers M888?
Might be just a minor item, clicking products that should take you to all items doesn’t show the product. Though clicking the plus sign to show the drop down of products shows gloss boss.
I plan to apply two coats of Gloss Boss then top and maintain with Tough as Shell. How long would you recommend waiting before the initial spray topper?
I appreciate your video! I have a question tho like I just bought griots 3 in 1 ceramic spray wax on sale on Amazon prime day for 16.99. And from my under it lasts 6 months with proper care. So to get 3 years of protection I wouldn’t go through the whole bottle. What makes an actual ceramic coating better than something like a ceramic wax like that? Are they stronger? Or? Thanks for your help
Traditionally, wipe on ceramic coatings are much more chemical resistant and much more durable than spray ceramics. The griots is a great product, similar to tough as shell. But wipe on ceramics are in a league of their own.
Congrats on your new pro ceramic coating system ! Anxious to try it out :)
Thanks for the support!
Thank you for giving us 50ml I hate those 30ml bottles

From an application standpoint, Looks like you may have hit a homerun with this one. Good job!!!
Thank you
Is it recommended to wait 7 days before washing, or is it 14 days?
7 days is plenty

Put this down first and use tough as shell as a topper. It will last a long time and be best for your new car.
@ thank you sir! Keep up the good work
So is this the secret coating that was in the cherrycoke torture video??
Yes

For someone that claims to be an expert on chemicals you would think they would use gloves when applying a ceramic coating.
I know right…rookie move on my end.

Tips if you apply outdoors?
Work no more than 2 panels at a time and wipe it down right before you apply it.
@@autodetailingpodcast what do you mean.. Wipe it down before you apply it?
You’ll need to do a fresh wipe to make sure there’s no dust on the panel before wiping on the coating.

Nah you won’t need it to go in a fridge. Just don’t leave it in direct sun. A cabinet will be fine

It usually last about 6+ months. You could strip it with a light polish, apply gloss boss and use tough as shell as a topper

Overall looks good - - A bit surprised your not wearing gloves - that is a coating and should not be absorbed into the skin.
it was just a total oversight on me end.
Can't be that good if you are wasting it on a pc of shit Tesla
I know right. What a waste.
I don't care if it's a yugo. If they are paying it's getting coated
