A53 weak point is the video stabilisation. Apart from, not bad despite being 2 years old. Thanks for the comparison!

A53 has better detail but A35 has more natural colors and better stabilizer and better selfie, also better chipset

Both phones produces nice pictures overall. I see A35 has a slight advantage for videos in terms of stabilisation. I like how detailed the images look on A53.

Great video demonstration of progress between a midrange (A53), and lower midrange (A35). The A35 has features that are missing on the A53. Alexy, when you complain about a missing feature, that features is either added on that phone later through updates or not at all. That feature could be added on future models. The A35 was good in most categories, but when cropping in (zoom), it was poor compared to the A53. The A35 video stabilisation was better, especially with the selfie cam. Remember when EIS is engaged, there will be cropping. if replacing a A53 and on a budget, the A35 could be considered.
The A53 also has features missing on the A35 like, 1080p 60fps video on the selfie camera and Ultrawide video recording at 4K. Limitations on both phones are Samsung's decision not because of lack of capabilities. Samsung is not going to add or improve anything on either phone, trust me. @@Soto-Tech2020 I said something similar about updating features in my reply, before see this. I agree about Samsung realising too many models. They are trying to cater for all price levels.
@@konradc12 Samsung can still cater for all price levels without releasing sooo many phones. All they have to do is to support old flagships longer like Apple does. The A35 and A55 are good phones but they are not better than any on the S22 or even S21 series. Actually not better than even Note 10 series. As for the A15s not even better than any of the S10 series.
