I know it's designed by Dave who owns Gateway and they're Gateway baskets, but the good news is the owner seems willing to fund 18 brand new Gateway Baskets 2.0 (which just so happen to be exact copies of Discatchers). Make it happen Dave!
Exactly. With the amount of money that's already put into this course, I have to imagine they'll put in upgraded baskets. They'd be insane not to, right?
Gateway baskets are my favorite. But the poles always rust away at the bottom after ten years. Every course with them has old baket placement that has a rusty or bent pole hole.

When Nate said to Eagle, "you'll have a putt for $50,000 by the time you hang up the bag." It sounded crazy at first...but I bet Sexton is right.
Simon was right when he reviewed this course on his channel. Chains are too light on those baskets. Still an amazing course.
Easiest thing to fix though. Such a beautiful course!

The way they slowed down the music on Eagles spit-out putt on hole #4 was a nice touch, too. It accurately conveyed a dragged-down, depressing vibe.
Absolutely LOVE the positive sportsmanship shown by the players to each other during this round. Also, this course looks gorgeous!

So nice to hear Eagle mention järva discgolf. Sadly it seems that course in sweden is gone soon due to the park being built over to create a cemetary. The discgolf world really needs to help if järva is to stay open.

The cemetary plan is doubly stupid since Järva course used to be a garbage dump full of toxic construction materials. So people put dirt and trees on top of it and made a disc golf course out of it. And now the city wants to tear down this beautiful solution.
These guys are going to go down in history for revolutionizing the idea of disc golf real estate. This is the future.
I was just thinking the Black course could have benefited from some elevated viewing spots for spectators, and BOOM!, Hole 5 here.

@@mikeaucoin9443 exactly. Uphill putt, weak side on hyzer. Rarely will those putts go in. You gotta be flat and dead center on the lower half of most baskets to stay in from the steep angle he was putting at. A Mach X Might have caught it, but hard to say.
Amazing course, disc golf is growing. I can only imagine a future with courses like this in every state!

I’ve had the pleasure of playing at Järva in Sweden, Maple Hill in Mass, and Hillcrest in PEI, and this course looks like it could potentially be better than all of them. They said it’s not even completed yet. Can’t wait to go play there some day.

Love this coarse! The only thing that bothered me was that sometimes I just want the out of bounds to be natural, the stakes making an unnatural out of bounds tends to be a bit much on such an already very technical and hard coarse.

Hole 4 is such a cool hole. At first I thought it must be a pretty soft par 5, but then seeing the risk reward putt at the end, the par makes total sense! Lay up to take birdie or par, or go for it for eagle or bird, I like it!
Or in my case, lay up for double, or go for bogie.
I think the guy jumping into the water has rightfully earned the title of ‘Goodest boy’. Guy was in the water before the disc was.
