Trueee I was a vocaloid fan before joining the echo/furry fandom but the lack of vocaloid stuff in echo caused me make it. The Donut Hole amv by saintbull got me inspired too And thank you I'm glad people in the fandom really like it. I hope to create more content in the Future 🙇♂️🙇♂️
Oh Leo, If only your obsession wouldn´t have gone all hi-wire. Also I wouldn't say Chase is bad, not good either, they both could be monsters or lovers, they are just....human, flawed.
I love when people actualy show how leo wasnt just a monster by himself and that chase isnt just a "victim" imo he was almost as bad as leo in his route
Huh ??? The worst thing Chase did in this route was leaving Leo without actually cutting ties with him. I'm having trouble seeing how that makes him almost as bad as the guy with crazy anger issue, who apparently frequently bullies and don't hesitate to physically assault a meth addict, purposefully ruins the trip to Echo just to keep Chase close to him (and barely pays attention to their friends overall), is insanely possessive of Chase to the point he even puts Kudzu in danger by kicking him out of his trailer and straight up KILLS both Chase and Kudzu in one ending.
@@noirenard_ are you talking about the part where chase didnt even care about leo going crazy/being possesed by the town and instead of talking with him, after a week of literaly forgetting about his other ffiends to be with leo he lashes out that "its over" and leaves him to be with the racoon. Is that the part you are talking about?
@@Thedawg2604 The fact you view Chase leaving Leo as a something bad shows you don’t understand anything about this route at all lol. Their relationship is not healthy for neither one of them, as Leo is straight up obsessed with Chase and cannot accept that their relationship was just a high school thing, and for Chase this relationship now only means being stuck into a place that he hates. It also makes perfect sense that after seeing how violent and possessive Leo has become, especially during the hysteria, that Chase would decide to finally end things with him and instead move on to be in a relationship with a guy whose shown to overall be a good person who respects him. Like, you’re trying to tell Chase ignored all their friends because he just wanted to stay with Leo while in reality LEO was the one to lie to all of them to keep them separated in small groups. Chase also didn’t randomly changed his mind about how he felt about Leo, he is shown to be concerned and disturbed throughout the route by Leo’s behavior and tells to Leo himself in the PROLOGUE that their relationship was not good for him. There are reasons why the ending where they both move on is the good one. Leo also isn’t possessed. The whole point of the story is that aside from a few exceptions, the characters’ bad personality traits are accentuated by the hysteria, meaning they already had them. If it was just a story about a group of nice people who randomly started going nuts because they were possessed it would be meaningless. I don’t get why so many people are acting like Leo was originally a nice guy who became evil because of the hysteria, when it is shown in BEFORE the hysteria (in multiple routes as well as in flashbacks, side stories and route 65) that he was a violent jealous asshole before. Chase isn’t a good person either, but honestly Leo’s route is one of the rare route in which he doesn’t, really do anything bad other than being unclear about the status of his and Leo’s relationship (which, crazy hot take but, isn’t as bad as physical assault and murder in my humble opinion).

@@Thedawg2604 well yeah ? Of course he is going to stop acting like a huge creep after he finally started to move on from the relationship that was making him act like that in the first place. I genuinely don’t understand how someone couldn’t understand something so simple. Also Chase still loved Leo at least to some degree, the main reason why they (kinda) broke up in the first place was not really because he stopped liking him but because he felt like it was the last thing keeping him stuck in Echo. Knowing that it’s not surprising he was gonna get closer to him in Leo’s route, at least before realizing how fucked up Leo is now. I also acknowledged that the fact Chase never cut ties with Leo until the very end was the main bad thing he did in Leo’s route, but expecting that someone can only be considered a victim of someone else’s action as long as they are a saint is ridiculous. Chase is an asshole overall especially to other characters, but if we’re only looking at their relationship Leo is objectively the worst one. (And I don’t think a child who suffers from mental issues murdering another kid with the intent of protecting a friend is as fucked up as a grown ass men killing two people out of jealousy. And we were talking about Chase and Leo’s relationship here, Sidney’s death is neither relevant to this relationship, nor to Leo’s route)
The quality of this is so good, the number of subs you have is criminal Your videos reminds me why Echo is such an incredible story Keep up the good work !!

I have to admit, recently any time I've heard the 'refusing to let go of the lost love' sort of song (or pretty much any love song with obsessive undertones) I've thought of these guys. It sort of adds another layer of... dread for the consequences of whatever speaker is professing undying devotion to some literally or metaphorically lost love or another. "Middle of a Dream" by Rise Against was one I very strongly connected to this route recently. Easy given how it uses the theme of being almost... hurt and accusatory at the lost love over the painful confusion of swapping back and forth on whether or not they exist between dreams and waking. Sometimes it can be very dangerous to lose the distinction between what you have and what you wish you had... Echo is so good and I wish I didn't feel like a weirdo trying to dump literary analysis of it on people! I wish it was more mainstream!

I did a fanart on my twitter about mesmerizer i pair up Chase with Tj because i wanna ref Tj ending route and how Chase literally avoids the topic on Sydney's death just like miku getting hypnotized. Tj is perfect for Teto on what he did on his route by making clues and reveal the reality about Sydney case.
